Hello,
It's a long time since I did more than the occasional lurking here... Quite a lot has happened in the last few years: I have a son (who is 3 years old), I bought a home last year and I finally set up a web hosting service (for now opened for family and friends only).
My hair has stayed pretty much the same, about 20 - 25 inches. On the minus side: during the last few years I have gained an awful lot of weight, more than 200 lbs since 2005, without being able to do anything about it - it's not because of overeating, it is the fact that I was extremely obese during my childhood and teenage years and struggled to keep my weight down ever since.

Fantastic looking hair. longhair511
Hair looks great linux; very thick and a good length. The beard also suites you very well. I'm terribly sorry to hear of your struggle with weight loss; I hope you can reverse it one day. Good luck and thanks for sharing your update.

I have always enjoyed your photos; please don't stop posting them. I like the way you look.
Congratulations on the birth of your son and to starting up your web hosting company.
I hope you can regain control over your body weight, your hair and beard look great.
Take care,
Dave
Thanks for posting and good to hear from you. The hair and the beard are looking great.
Congratulations on you new internet adventure and I hope it goes from strength to strength!
Cheers,

...a long time indeed !
Happy to hear about your son, business and home. And your hair is still looking great.
I sympathize with the weight problem. I have a doctor who tells me to lose weight, then prescribes medication with the side effect of weight gain ! sigh !
Hang in there !
Walter
I know what you mean about losing weight man - it seems to be very difficult (im trying to lose some weight myself). Keep on trying to lose the weight and continue to grow those locks lol
Your hair looks really good. Cool length, it looks great on you. Sorry to hear about your issue, hang in there, brother. I wish you luck! Keep it growing.

First of all I have to say you have some fantastic longhair and the facial hair just compliments it.You've got the longhair department certainly covered for sure. Also A big congratulations on the birth of your son,the new home and of course your web hosting service. You've done quite a lot to be proud of over the last several years.
One thing I had to think about before writing this reply is my concern over you weight issue.Certainly I don't know your medical history but I hope you are considering consulting a doctor as to options to reduce your weight. Not just for yourself but for your new son and your family it is in you best interest to take care of this issue head on.I don't want to ramble on too much about this as I'm sure you heard this before but you are a very ambitious guy who now needs to do something good for yourself. Please just think of this as our community being concerned for you.Take care my friend and keep up the great work otherwise.

When I was 6 years old I had a relatively minor surgery which screwed up something in my hormonal system and triggered a runaway weight gain. Until then I was a normal kid, a few months later my weight was more than 3 times the normal for my age, despite the fact that I didn't eat more than before. I remember that my weight went over 200 kg (440 lbs) at age 16. I went on a weight loss regime consisting mostly of lots of exercise and I managed to bring my weight down and keep it around 120 - 140 kg for more than 20 years. Then I started gaining weight a few years ago - my age and my history were catching up with me. I have consulted specialists, there is not much that can be done. Since my weight gain is not caused by overeating, weight loss surgery is not an option (and I don't want to go under the knife anyway). The opinion is that I will eventually reach my body's "design weight" and the gain will stop, hopefully before I become too heavy to move around. I did a lot of work on my legs and back and this will certainly help...
Thanks

I have to say I appreciate your frankness about your past health issues and certainly feel for you.Obviously you tried everything available to help solve your weight issue and I don't blame you about not wanting to do surgery.Obviously you found out at a very young age what the results can be under bad circumstances. You have to wonder about doctors and the drugs they give you as usually you get nasty side effects from them.Just keep the faith my friend and I wish you the best in the future. Please do stick around here as its a great place for support and its nice to hear from you.

Your hair looks good. Keep it growing. As for about your weight, sorry about it. Talk to your doctor about it. He will give you some advice, and maybe a plan.
Regardless
My MySpace - feel free to add me as a friend
Homeownership is a great thing and something to feel good about, although it has it's challenges at times. Glad to hear you have a son and hope he's doing well.
Your hair looks great and the beard works for you. As for your weight i can understand as one of my friends mates wife has a glandular issue and has a similar porblem. The only thing you can do is get with your doctor conmcerning your weight whcih I assume you have already.
Good luck to you with your internet Biz
Take Care
Kevin
Congratz with your son, own house and the webservice that are all great things.
Your hair and facial hair is nice.
I'm sorry to hear about your weight problems, I hope you don't gain anything more and hope it's posible to loose some more.
Your hair is looking great (I like the facial hair, too). Congrats on many events as well! Owning your own home, becoming a father, and starting a business are all things to be very proud of.
As for your medical condition (I read through the responses below), I wish you the best of luck. Metabolism is a really fickle, very poorly understood animal to deal with. Stay strong, physically and mentally, and hang in there!

High!
A shocking sight (not meant to hurt you, just to give the stark impression your picture made on me)... from your avatar image I could tell that you was heavyset, but I never imagined you being *that* voluminous...
How are you able to breathe freely with such masses of fat, not to mention to move around? I'm myself far from a healthy weight, at "only" 120 kgs (BMI: 36.5) I frequently experience breathing difficulties and pain in the thorax muscles, and I doubt that I would be alive in 2020 unless I drastically lose weight, preferably down to 80 to 85 kgs like when I was 20...
I understand that your weight problem, unlike mine, is not related to overeating and/or lack of physical exercise (which is a tempting trap for us IT guys, spending days and nights motionlessly in front of computer screens!)... could it be treated by some hormonal therapy?
See you on www.khyberspace.de!

The avatar image is a couple of years old; I was much lighter then...
Remarkably I do not have much difficulty breathing, perhaps because of the way my fat is distributed. Regarding moving my 240 kg (BMI > 80) around, it's another story - I can still stand and walk, but with some effort.
Looked into that, too many risks...
I still have to set up my website - I have the webservers and the pipe to the internet, what I need is some time...
