I want to straighten my hair once every 3 or 4 months just to see the actual length of the hair. If I straighten or use a heat product on the lowest setting, will I be fine or does it cause damage?
I think using it that little probably wouldn't cause any damage.
Just remember to use hear protection cream, and when you're done trim off the ends of it.
It doesn't matter, straightening every day for 3 or 4 months will cause damage. Just take extra special care of your locks and you'll be fine.
Hes not using it every day Bill, he's only using it once every 3 months (so 1 day in 92 days)
It should do no harm I think, maybe use hair protection serum just to be sure
I don't know if you have this kind of stuff in your country, but here in Brazil there's a treatment you do in hair salons called hydratation, and it is basically a cream that decreases your hair volume and creates some awesome shine, and also gives it some extra hair oil,and it doesn't do bad to your hair at all.It worked pretty well for me for 3 months, and I plan to do it soon,so If I were you I would seek any other hair treatments that have a similar effect and do it,cause it is safer than straightening your hair.Good luck :).
I myself have never been in favor of straightening, sure you can be careful and it may not cause issues the first few times but it's not beneficial to your hair that's for sure. But if you want to go for it and good luck.
