  Recently I bought some new hair-ties that had a rubber-like strip on the inside surface. They claimed that they would hold better, so I figured I'd give them a shot. Well, they're not worth the time. They don't hold my hair any better than the usual fabric-covered ties I've been using, and the little strip falls apart in no time at all. Just thought I'd pass the word.

    i've seen something like that for sale here and wondered about the rubber part. thanks for the warning.

    i find that these work great! my boyfriend loves them, too. the only 'problem' with them is you have to be more careful taking them out, as the rubber can tug the hair a bit. other than that, i think they're awesome!
