Hey MLHH! It's been a while. And while I haven't been too active on the boards as of late, I still lurk and check out your updates every chance I get. Anyway, life's been good so far. I'm searching for a summer job right now, which I seem to be putting off. I've been denied from a supermarket job because of my hair-length, and my refusal to cut it. Hopefully, I'll find a job that's more lenient for guys with long hair. Anyway, here are my update shots. Only 1 more month until my 2 year update!
I usually wear it in a ponytail most of the time now. Not just because it's so hot, but due to the fact that is also really windy as well.
Hi Brandon,
Great update pics as your hair looks awesome! Not bad at all for nearly two full years of growth.I don't recall at what length you started out at but at least now you are definately a longhair:)The quality also is stunning too as you've taken great care of your mane.A major thumbs up my friend.Oh and I like this one kindof.Have a fabulous weekend...
Mark
Looking splendid, Brandon! Keep up the job search, as I'm sure you'll eventually find something that suits you. Stay well! =)

Wow! Your hair is growing fast. Keep it growing and enjoy it.
Me too. I love it out but doesn't always work. Great hair man. Grats
Brandon,
Congrats on your progress, your hair looks very thick and healthy.
Keep it growing and best of luck on the job hunt.

Your long hair is looking more fabulous with every up-date, and this one tops all the cakes thus far. Congratulations on such a spectacular mane!
As for that store, I am so glad that you are a man of your convictions and did not cower about NOTHING there really is to cower about for those numbskulls and cut your hair for them.
THEY are the losers. Your appearence would hardly be offensive at all........in fact, you look so well kept-up you are miles away from some of the "things" I see that have been hired around here.
Fear not, something is sure to come along for you. It can't miss. And I am most sure you will be a great asset to whatever employer is lucky enough to find you.
Good to hear from you Brandon. Your hair looks straight and healthy, and it looks like you do take pretty good care of your hair. As for the supermarket job, it is totally pointless why they did not hire you. It is one thing if you are applying for a mechanic job, or a job involving dangerous chemicals, since it would be safer to have shorter hair, but for a supermarket, it is totally bogus. The people at the supermarket are what you should call: losers. There are better places to go, and someone will be very lucky to have you. I see long-haired men at retail all the time. And I also saw a long-haired man working at the King County Courthouse in Seattle. Nevertheless, keep growing out your hair, and I am looking forward for your 2-year update. My 2-year update will be in December this year, shortly before Christmas.

Your hair is looking super, Brandon. You have good length and it will just get better with even greater length. Keep growing it for sure.
Scott
Hi Brandon,
What an awesome update, and the thing that strikes me the most about your hair is how wonderfully THICK it is! It is in excellent condition, and with your thickness, you should be able to grow it much longer.
I am happy to hear that life has been good for you lately, and by all means, don't give up on finding a job that will be acceptibg of your long hair. I have seemn LOTS of guys working in both supermarkets and department stores with long hair, here in Nova Scotia.
Take care,
David
It seems like yesterday when you were posting pics of hair hanging at the jaw line. What progress a few months can make! Congratulations, Brandon.
I totally understand the ponytail and wind relationship: thick hair gets really B I G in the wind.
Keep on growing and all the best!

Your hair looks great and good to hear you didn't cut it for $7.00/hr. You will find a job. Check out builder's supply stores, libraries, book shops, etc. - places that don't try to project that conservative attitude.
Hey Brandon!!
Your hair looks great!!! What is your goal length???
If you were in Mass... I would hire you for the summer.
Keep it growing.
Jules
Looks great Brandon, both wearing down and in a tail, you really do have excellent hair to work with.

Cool update Brandon. I'm sorry to hear you were turned down for a job but on the lighter side Supermarket jobs suck trust me I know from experience. (grin)
I know it was work fot the summer only but keep looking many will hire longhair or not as it's summer help so they don't scrutinize as much I hope.
