Is it better to have your long hair center parted or combed forward into a fringe?
Well it's up to you what you want either parted or a fringe. oh yes we know there are one or two "one length" specialists on the board but yet again they are too busy getting trims "eh trimmers!" and their hair never gets any longer!
So up to you leave to grow or have a fringe and you wo't get -ve comments here.
Cheers,

What the he*l are fringes? Do you mean bangs? If that's the case I think bangs suck and make a guy look ... womanish?
It is always the best of all to have your hair the way YOU want it to be.
It is up to you to decide how you want your hair to be.
Regardless

I've always had my hair parted in the center. I like it the way it is but like everyone else said it's whatever you maay desire.

Parting most definitely; growing it out again is a pain.
Depends how far along you are, it's pretty hard to have a fring past 6 months or so, without poking yourself in the eye.
Bottom line is, you have to cut it to keep a fringe, and it just doesnt look good on anybody but the most womanish man.
sorry.
Interesting answer, perhaps we'd better ask some of the "womanish men" the board as to their opinion!

Not sure if that was sarcastic or not, but when someone says fringe to me, i think of what the RAQ describes as the "betty Page" look.
Don't think I would fancy looking like Betty Page.
LOL Depends on what "womanish" means! I'm gay, if that's what you mean, and I do love bangs, but finally grew mine out after debating both sides for a long time.
Hmmm, since my "ex-bangs" wil nevebe as long as my regular hair, maybe I'll cut them back short again.
LOL would they be anything like "Girlymen"? I bet they spend a lot of time in salons do you reckon.

Well, I purposely have bangs which I wear either straight down or swept to the side and I personally love how they bring attention to my eyes and add much needed shape to my haircut which would otherwise be simply long and boring without the bangs. If that makes me a "feminine" kind of man, then I proudly proclaim that I'm a womanish man!
Good for you Eric and have your hair the way you want and like it. I know some people like to apply labels etc and if some of the "all one length brigade" don't like well thats too bad for the them.

Oh, be daring, do a side part! Or, to really confuse the fashionistas, part from ear to ear.
Seriously, if you're concerned about appearances, you need to see what works with your face shape.
