Str8, thin, and needs a trim, but I don't want to cut it. Practically I would like mid-back length. comments welcome . . . i can e-mail more pics. btw, great site and everyone here is a great inspiration to let it grow!
Fine let it grow then and coming great so far!
I believe we used to have another muscle flexer on the board as well.

When one doesn't want a trim, then one should simply not have one. Easy as that.
Hey not bad so far.Other than that you look great with longhair as it suits your physique very well.I agree too that you should at a minimum have at least mid back hair but longer would be better:)Anyway thanks for posting and oh yes WELCOME to the MLHH your home away from home!Have a great weekend my friend:)

Welcome to the board.Your hair type look exactly like mine. Trims won't help so it's good you don't want one.
Your hair looks good and straight, and you do not need to cut or trim it. Just let it grow. Good to hear from you.
Regardless
My MySpace - feel free to add me as a friend
The answer is simple... let it grow past the ideal length you want, and then trim it to that length so you have the fullest and thickest ends possible. So far your hair is looking great. Keep it growing, and welcome to the board! =)

Welcome to the baord and great progress on the hair front.
Some of the users like to do trimms some of the users don't, it's good to see what no trimms will get you. Your a good example for just let it grow.

Wow the condition of your hair looks great for 3 years without a cut! I've been growing 2 years and eight months and while my hair is longer it's in terrrible condition and as a result I'm cutting off the seriously damaged ends!
Great hair! :)
I'm in the same boat as you regarding the ends. My wife and daughter have been pestering me to get a minor trim on the ends to "even the length" some. I've kept them at bay (so far!).
Great length, by the way! And keep it going, too. I admire how yours lays straight, how I'd like mine to do - and I'm thinking it will, once I get completely past the awkward stage.
First, don't do an allover trim this early in. As hair grows from short to long, it has a way of self-evening. You are just getting to the point of having noticeable length, you don't want to interfere with the process. DO spot-trim. A sharp pair of small scissors, like those used for embroidery or manicures, and a little patience, is all you need. You are looking for ends that are split or damaaged or dried-out and brittle. Snip off just _those_ hairs, right above the damage.
To give my fine, thin hair, a bit of fullness, I work in a dab of aloe vera gel in damp hair. Aloe will not coat your hair with gunk. It works by holding and attracting moisture, which causes the hair cutucles to swell slightly. This gives the appearance of fullness. Humectants are good for hair, they reduce dryness and static. Plus, aloe gel is quite cheap. You can find it in the skin care section of drug stores/pharmacies, mass marker merchandizers, dollar stores and department stores. Comes scented and unscented, and may have a dye to make it look green or yellow. The dye will not affect your hair color, in caase you can't find clear gel. The stuff I currently use is GREEN!
That's my hair advice for 2¢!
Sea story time....
Your note reminded me of something that happened to me a while back. I was in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) making a port visit, and had a bit of a sunburn. Stopped into a local drug store to pick up some aloe vera gel (which was also green, BTW). After my purchase I noticed on the label that the stuff was made in Riverside, California. Found it very amusing that I'd traveled almost 10,000 miles to buy something made less than 100 miles from my home.
