Anyone who cuts their own hair, should I cut it when it's wet or dry? Or does it matter? I'm getting conflicting answers on the internet!
Thanks!
I was always taught/told that you should cut your hair when it is dry...
I personally have straight hair, but if you have wavy-curly hair, it should definately be cut dry---due to curly hair's tendency to 'relax' when wet....when cut when dry, you have better control over it, and will turn out more even, and also thus preventing a 'screw-up'.
but IMO, whatever type hair you have, it should be cut when dry, to avoid chances of screwing it up, and also (just came up in mind) if you are trimming split ends off, you can obviously see them better when dry....
Thanks! :) I have the straightest hair possible I think, but why do hairdressers wet your hair with those spray thingies, they always did that when I used to get my hair cut when I was a child, maybe this is an Irish thing? xD
the one time I cut mine back in January, it was dry and went well. I did the exact thing you are contemplating and snipped off the last couple of inches that were beyond help.
Thanks! :D It went well yeah?
