I have very long hair. I am also living in a very dry climate. Is there something I can put in my hair that will not make it greesy as many leave in conditioners do. I am not liking my hair going very dry on me. It is sad.. I have never had this problem when I was in a moister climate.
Thank you

Ever tried pure Coconut Oil shampoo on it's own ? Apparently it's the closest thing together with jojoba oil to the scalp's natural oils.
Then if it's still too dry, try gently massaging into clean but still wet hair a little coconut oil Deep Conditioner for about 10/ 20 minutes or so depending on preference, but making sure you thoroughly wash and rinse it all out at the end. Particularly into the scalp and ends. I've found carefully controlling or regulating the amounts of glop you massage in gives you time to get your own personal mix about right. Too much however and you're soon back in grease land again ! So perhaps somewhere in between ?
Hope this helps....

I'm a big fan of cyclomethicone & dimethicone oils . . . works pretty well (better than lots of other stuff) for shining hair, helps detangle, and releiving dry hair trouble. Comes in clear liquid, is not too expensive, and a little bit goes a long way (a drop or two is fine). It's sold in Wal-Mart, K-Mart, drugstores as Citrishine and other shine/gloss/polisher products.
