Do you have to get trims every month or is that just a myth?
Not only is it a myth. It is frowned upon by most of us here.
Well, what Quester said is correct. Think about it though, if you are growing your hair out, hair grows 1/2 inch per month. If you trimmed it EVERY month you'd either A) keep the same length you currently have forever or B) Move backwards as people seem to have different perceptions on how much length a trim should take off. You best avoid trims altogether.

It is not a good idea. You hair will not get any longer if you trim it every month.
Regardless
My MySpace - feel free to add me as a friend
WOW!! and to think you missed all those millions of "trim" posts over the years that your asking this.
Unless this is a wind up...LOL
If not then the answer is no.
Kevin
i have no been on mlhh for a week now didnt read any of the posts
??? This is a subject so well covered as to be boring. So if it is genuine and you have simply not looked, scissors are seriously bad for hair and should go where near it save for the rarest of trims or to maintain grown out length - ie if you want it should blade length not terminal the occasional trim will keep it there.
Monthly is nonsense and one wonders if this is a troll.
Mmmm he's under that bridge again!
Every month?.........................................
LOL, no wai!
