Well, I can't say how great it feels to be a long hair again!
Quick question.
How do folks manage "fly away" hairs?
Especially at the temples and above the ears?
I'm afraid to trim to high above my sideburns because I'll develop "wings" that are hard to control when my hair is tied back.
I don't want to gel my hair every time I tie it back but otherwise I get little "wings" above my ears and some fly away hairs on top that just won't lay down.
Am I making sense? Lol.
Thanks folks.
Grow long and prosper!
Well, post a picture of yourself if you can and then we can go from there mmmKay?
Ok, here ya go...
W/gel... Just don't want to "wet" look everytime I tie my hair back.
My hair is pretty wiry...
I'll have to take a pic that illustrates what I'm talking about.
Have to do it later though, I just rolled out of bed. Lol.
"I brush them back as best as I can, smoke a fatty, then I don't care as much."
Great plan. Gave me a good laugh this morning. Cough Cough.
I think the flyaways are from trimming my sideburns.
I'm afraid if I keep trimming, I'll have a mullet!
Not that there's anything wrong with that but it's not the look I'm after.
I suppose could just keep using gel but I'm gonna try coconut oil or Jojoba oil.
Thanks all.
Happy 4th!
Peace is patriotic.
I brush them back as best as I can, smoke a fatty, then I don't care as much.
Every longhair has flyaways, but after combing and putting a tie in your hair most of the hair will fit in. After you've been outside just repeat this. When I want to get rid of the flyaways I make my hands wet and put them over my hair, this only works for a short time.
My hair is way too long to strike wings like that, but I use a drop of coconut oil in my hand and thats enough.
Jojoba oil might be good, too.
Real easy and with luck this will work for you:
1. Wet both hands.
2. Put a drop or so of gel in palm of one wet hand.
3. Rub both hands together and smooth over the hair.
Presto! All is dry in 30 seconds..........and no gel is detected.
