Hello all!
I just did a search on google for "living with long hair", as I was curious about how other people deal with living with longer hair every day.
Can't really explain why, but there you go. I found your group here and thought I would say hi. Glad that there are people of all ages who are growing their hair. I don't know many people with long hair (or many people at all really - can you tell!). I am one of three males in my office and the youngest. Heh. So I get a fair bit of stick for looking the way I do.
Anyway, sorry I am ranting on.

Welcome!! I also am glad you found us. I think for me the board has become like a very extended family. Most you like, some you disagree with. And occasional one may tick you off. But we are all here for the same thing. To give and receive support in growing and maintaining our manes. And to this end, THIS BOARD EXCELS.

Hi Matt and let me be another to welcome you here to the mlhh.Looking at your pic I have to say you have an amazing head of hair that looks fabulous:)I would take the flack you may get at work as a compliment as long as its in a friendly way.Obviously your hair is noticed by others as it should be.
As for your question about how others "live with longhair" I almost never give it a second thought as I've had longhair all my adult life to date and plan on keeping it that way.After awhile you realize its just another part of you like your hands,feet,etc.Oh well enough of my rant!LOL.Anyway I hope otherwise you are enjoying having longhair as there is nothing like it:)Take care and have a great weekend my friend.

I'm glad to see the younger guys taking up the long hair style! I'm 58 years old, "a child of the 60's," and have fairly recently returned to long hair after a long adult life of conforming to what "the man" expects. At this age, I say I'm going to do what I want. As Ayn Rand said, I own myself. Going against the grain is an American tradition!!
