is there a way to get rid of the small curls i have at the nape of my neck shown in the picture i posted earlyer without causeing any damage right now i have 2 hair ties in with one at the tip of the pont taail and wetted the tip im hoping it wall dry straight
Hi eric, again welcome! We all had the same problem at that length. The reason it curls is because your hair keeps hitting the top of your back/shoulder. It disappears completely when your hair gets beyound that point. Most of us just tough it out because anything you do will be undone by your hair constantly rubbing at the top of your shoulders. Best solution: patience. Worst solution cutting or trimming it. If anyone suggests that you should get a trim "to take care of that", Run Away!!

I think 3 or 4 monthes ought to do it.. try not to think about it too much and then they'll be gone!

What your experiencing sux. I remember useing gel to slick it back and a hat to hide it for what seemed like forever. Your almost there. In 6 months you'll all but have forgotten it.

speaking as someone who studied at a beauty school, the only way to straighten your hair and make the style stay is by using a flat iron or by running a brush through your hair while blow-drying it. Nothing else works at least not to straighten your hair trust me on this. Other than that, you're only other option is brushing your hair back when wet and tying it back into a tight ponytail, that way the hair on your scalp looks straight and smooth.
Hi eric. I have wavy hair, which makes my dad think my hair is going to grow out horizontally. After another few more months, it is going to be a lie. My hair will still appear wavy, but it is going to straighten out myself. Even very curly hair will eventually grow downward when it gets long enough. Just be patient.
