Ever since I started taking care of my mom every day and summer finally came (lots of things to do outside) I have not used the chat room at all and I realized today I have not seen any listing of anyone in chat when I visit here either. Last year it seems like it was used fairly often, so I was just wondering if everyone has quit using it or what.....thanks.
Kudos to you bro!! I am taking care of my dad so I know the lawn and garden drill as well as personal care. More people should take care of their elderly instead of farming them out to nursing homes. Secondly ... we have a chat room? Lol Better put the spliff down a min.
Thanks Q; actually my mom is in a nursing home but it's a very good one and she is about 2 miles from my house so I see her twice a day and monitor her care and take care of her; yes I know about the chat room here; I wondered if it is still used by anyone. thanks and good luck with taking care of your dad; you are a good son; take it one day at a time (good advice for growing hair too and maybe everything else now to find where I can get a wood comb : )
If you sit in the chat room for awhile, especially in the evening, you will attract others. What you can do is log in and push the window over to the left side of your screen while working on e-mail or other stuff. If you see another photo pop in on the chat room window, then you have your conversation.
Once every ten minutes you can hit the "Enter" or "Return" key to keep the chat room from booting you out for inactivity.
