It was 2 years ago that I emerged from the murky shadows to introduce myself on this wonderful forum. I want to give thanks for the support that all of you have shown in those 2 years.
THANKS!
Keep on Growin'!!
Bruce
Wow. Your hair came a long ways. Keep it growing. As for me, when I started my growing process, I started off with a cropped cut, and now, 18 months later, my hair is down to bearly touching my shoulders. I will tell more about this in my 19th month update coming in a week.
Regardless
My MySpace - feel free to add me as a friend
Thank you for your comments Matthew. I look forward to your update next week.
Bruce
Yep the long hair is definitely badass lol.
So does your wife enjoy the long hair now or has at least gotten used to it?
Thanks DiO! I grew up in the late 60's and early 70's, everyone had long hair. My wife is 5 years younger and it seems that her experience was different. Answer... She'll never stop hoping that I'll go short again but I think she has resigned herself to getting used to it.
Bruce
Hi Bruce,
You made a beautiful progress in two years, congratulations ! When I see the second photo, I almost see and old and wise indian, haha, lacks the feather :)
Does your wife accept it, now ?
Vivien
Thanks Vivien, old yes, wise maybe not! My lovely wife still has her reservations but I think she's learned to live with me and my long hair.
Bruce
Whoa!! Now this is what I call a major achievement. Your hair has come a long long way. Fantastic and inspirational! Thanks for sharing and keep it growing till it hits the floor.
Thanks Chris! It does feel really good. I don't if the floor is possible but at least I'm trying!
Bruce
Hi Bruce,
Congratulations on 2 years at the hyperboard, and what amazing progress for only two years. Your hair is in excellent condition, and grows quickly. Also, it appears that you have switched to a centre part as well.
Hopefully, your wife is more accepting of your hair than she used to be, so you could grow it longer without any "hassles". You should have no problems achieving waist length if you wish.
Keep it growing,
David
Thank you for your kind remarks David. Yes, I switched sometime last month. I don't remember when and what exactly what pushed me in that direction but it feels perfectly comfortable and is a little easier to deal with in the morning. I could go either way, but for the moment, center it is!
My wife, for the most part, has resigned herself to the fact that I have long hair, but occasionally she'll ask why. We'll see what the future has in store for me.
Congrats again on your retirement and may your golf score be low and your enjoyment be high!
Bruce
Your hair looks superb, Bruce. Such an incredible transformation. Hopefully your wife likes it now. Long hair suits you very well. Keep it growing for sure.
Scott
Thank you Scott, it feels incredible! We were married 15 years before I first grow my hair long and 23 years this time. She's known me with short hair a lot longer than with long. It'll take time.
Bruce
Wow!! You have come a long way bro. And IMO you look better and happier. Keep it growin.
Thanks Quester and yes I am happier!
Bruce
Not only is your growth in two years impressive, but the condition seems to have improved dramatically.
Thanks for Sharing and being a good example.
Walter

Bruce
Thanks Brian! With a little more length your hair will behave perfectly. I used to have the dippity do thing going on. Now.. nothing!
Keep on growin'
Bruce
Looking awesome, great looking and well cared for.Peace man :)
Thank you Rafael! Looking forward to your next update.
Bruce
Wow, Bruce, what a transformation. Those two pictures really capture the change from awkward stage flips/curls to a stunning long mane. Nice!
Mouse
Thanks Mouse! I must say, I'm a bit jealous of your hair. It reminds me of the color I had 20 -30 years ago. (Not that a little silver is terrible)
Bruce
Woah! That is some awesome hair! You are really lucky, your hair grows pretty fast (for hair). It's great to hear from you Bruce.
Take care and keep it growing mate.
Neil
Thanks a bunch Neil, it's good to see you back! Hope things continue to go well for you.
Bruce
The hair's looking great. Nice and smooth. Keep it growing.
Thank you Garth!
Bruce
Hi Bruce,
Hey that is so cool to reread your first post to the board and also have the two pics for an instant comparison. You have made tremendous progress in those two years. So glad you didn't listen to your wife and just kept missing those barber appointments:)"See look at all the money we saved" would be a good answer to her when asking if you were going for that cut.Sure was a good decision on your part.Whatever your goal may be just stick to your guns!Take care my friend and have a great weekend.
Mark
Thanks you Mark! I did have a couple of false starts when I first tried the "miss the barber" trick. Actually I would have been 6 months farther along had I "missed" the first appointment that I really did'nt want anyway. Oh well, I'm happy to be at this point now.
Keep on Growin'
Bruce
