I really do enjoy coming to this board now I really do. But its clear to me that there must be some kind of misunderstanding between myself and many other users here. I understand that re-posting an old photo of myself is very repetitive and I did promptly stop doing that once I saw that it was no longer acceptable here. I only re-posted my old photo once more in my previous post here because as I have mentioned, I don't have a scanner of my own. Those two pictures are the only ones saved to my PC because I sent them to my e-mail address from the internet cafe I was at. I had to first buy a camara, ask a good friend to take pictures of me, get those photos developed, and then of course pay to rent the computer I was using that was connected to the scanner. As you can see, this is a costly expense for me so I apologize if I can't send brand new pics of myself. If anyone can kindly tell me what exactly are the rules for behavior here in terms of posting pictures and or subject matter, please tell me here since I am still fairly new here. And to those members here who have something cruel to say to me, you will not be responded to so don't bother. I don't have anything cruel to say to anyone here, so I would expect the same from everyone here. Thank you again.
"...I only re-posted my old photo once more in my previous post here because as I have mentioned, I don't have a scanner of my own...."
Is your camera digital?

I'm assuming that you rented your computer with the scanner in the internet cafe? Thats cool. If it doesn't bother you, which internet cafe was it? I haven't seen any in my city that rent computers. The ones here only provide a free wireless network for people using laptops with wireless network cards.

Oh no need to apologize for anything. A little common sense goes a LONG way. You can find the answer to your question if you read the rules. The rules cover everything. If still in doubt, the most logical thing to do would be to E-Mail the moderators in private. With that said, don't feel bad, the people here didn't mean any harm, they are just rational human beings. Any rational person would be repulsed by now after seeing the same monotonous images over and over again. Its as if you're shoving yourself down out throat :-)
P.S Looking forward to hearing about this internet cafe "Eric". I could sure use one like that one you went to.
FYI
While most of the cafés around my town offer Wi-Fi service only where 'internet service' is offered, there are some in my city (and in past cities in which I've lived) that have computers available for usage (for a fee, based on time used). Without a home internet connection (or computer, it seems - let alone a digital camera), it would be difficult to get regular updates.

The rules are located in a link at the top of the main page.

If you have any further questions I suggest you e mail the crew directly. That would be more appropriate than posting them in a thread.
Also concerning your photo that you include in so many of your posts. You do have an avatar so we get to see you in every post already. If the photo continues to be the cause of conflict between users the moderators can and will remove it from your posts before they go to the board. (That's a hint).

MLHH President
He didn't post it this time, so I think he already got the message. Lay off him a bit, Mr. President. He's clearly upset.
Doing my Job as I see fit. I don't think I was particularly harsh, Firm yes as my point is we will end this the mods have had enough as have I.
Kevin
And this is exactly what a President should be doing. We are all so blessed to have such a great President of this wonderful Hyperboard as are you.
Justin~
If you can't afford a digital camera to connect to your pc or if you have to use a public pc, you could have your film developed at Filmworks.com or at YorkPhoto.com. You can get a free photo sharing account with them and link those pictures (taken on film) to your emails and web pages. Old technology meets new!!
Btw, there are some that'll post a pic everytime they reply to a post or have a story to tell. I think they believe we'll forget who they are. We won't forget! I still remember some that haven't posted for 2 or 3 years.
Good luck with the job hunt, be confident!
Bruce
Thank you more than you can know Bruce. I suppose for now at least, I won't have any newer pictures to show of me but my looks won't change much if at all for the next decade to come so I'm fairly confident you will still have a fresh idea of what I look like. And if Absalom is correct, then my hair is almost already at termimal length so it will probably look in the future very much like it does already. Thanks again!
Yours Truly,
Eric A.
Most of us have an "Avatar," which comes up with every post, so we do not need to repeat. I am painfully aware that mine is out of date, but I have not have time to repost. So relax, already, and just communicate what you want in text until you are ready to share a new photo. I wish people were complaining to me asking for an update, but no one has.
I am pleased with my progress, and hope to share it on or before my 74th. brigth day in early August.
Cal.
I haven't met you before Caledonian, but I am glad I have. Thank you for being someone who is willing to be kind and helpful to me on this board. I only wish others here would have done the same for me, but then I suppose I might as well wish for an end to world hunger as well.
Yours truly,
Eric A.
Ditto...it's the same they are not beating a path to my door asking to post updates. But as I said before I'll post an "nth" update when I'm ready lol!
As we know age in unimportant as longs as yo are feeling good and having fun on our little spinning globe here.
Cheers,

Knock, Knock.
"Who's there?"
Update police!
Hi Cal, it's easy for youth to grow a flowing mane but it takes a special dedication for guys over "29". We would love to see an update! (you too John!)
Bruce
Hi Bruce,
Talking of knock knock and she's not down the tavern amymore!:
Oh well for those that will an update will be coming, but you know how shy I am!
Cheers,
John.B
I don't understand all the hoop-la?
What does it matter if you post the same picture in every post?
The rules don't state anything against it.
If anyone has a problem with it, then it's THEIR problem.
I haven't read anything negative from anyone about it. How in the world could it a problem? If it bothers anyone, they can just choose not to read your posts. Some people must just have too much time on their hands to be upset at such a silly little thing.
You are not breaking any rules and the picture is definately on topic (unlike a lot of posts). The mods should deal with any individual who makes negative comments concerning your picture.
(Heaven knows that I bite my tongue a lot with pictures I view here.)
Keep posting and keep posting pictures.
No, but it is a general societal behavior rule that you don't pester the same people with the same information over and over. Since MLHH is populated with people, general societal rules apply.
