There is a product you can buy at stores, It is called Sun in... Does it work? Is there a chance it could to ruin your hair? I would like to have some nice sun look into my hair. I dont know to use this or not.. Have any of you used sun in, in your hairs?

DO NOT USE SUN IN!!!! As a hairdresser I will tell you it is the worst hair product out there..I call it the crack cocaine of hair products..If you want good looking highlights, pay the money and go to a reputable salon. You'll be glad you did. If your hair is past shoulder length you may want to consider getting foil highlights as opposed to a cap highlight. Just be sure you go to a good salon. No Haircrafters or Fantastic Sams etc. You get what you pay for.

Well, the natural option is to just be out in the sun a lot! That's the case for me, and I have a lot of blond highlights in my darker hair. Not only that, they all appeared in just the place I would have asked for someone to put them. :-)
Oh, and while I have your ear, you're from Utah, who WAS that red headed skater dude from your state on your Olympics ceremony tonight! I noticed a few Indians with long manes on that program too. Glad you're not the only longhair in Utah, man! From your earlier post you had us scared for a bit you might have been. (wink)
I have been trying to look that up in NBColympics.com, Bill, but they aren't specific about the events. It seem as if he rescues the kid from the icicles, or as Jay Leno would put it, from the "Ku Klux Klan!"
Seems as if I remembered another long hair as hero in Msg.#12345. He seems to look like a red-head, too!
I noticed a few cowboys driving that Golden Spike on that program, too!
And there was also a longhaired juggler on Jay Leno's Olympics bit.

turn out better and little damage. Also, with Sun-in it takes a long time to get the color you want. It will go through different color
steps. Red, Orange, Gold depending of the color of virgin hair.
Thank you all for telling me it isnt good to use that sun in. I wont use it.
Though I am little confused as to how sun in changed conversation to red heads?
