Anybody ever wear the ponytail holders with the 2 balls. Its a bit weird, but a lot of fun if you do. I've only seen black guys wearing them either one pony tail or double. Also seen Snoop wearing them. Only seen 2 other white guys wear them my whole life. I'm the third white guy I"ve seen who wears them. They are addictive and you will eventually pick up some blk girls.Will have to deal with some funny looks.

You know its been so long since I've seen those ponytail holders it probably goes back to my high school days.LOL. But you know they are kind of cool and very different.Though wearing them I would think they would be heavy but maybe not.Well if I ever get brave maybe I might just try one of those:)Anyway thanks for the post as it will be interesting to see if any of the other board users knows of or wears them.Take care.

Hey thanks for the pic but if possible could you do another as that one has a lot of your hair missing from the shot.From what I can see it does look interesting with those kind of ties in your hair.I'll have to check some stores to see what they offer in that type of ponytailer.

i've always wondered why more guys don't use these more often. 1. they're much easier to put in your hair. 2. they don't pull hair when taken out. 3. they come in zillions of colors and styles to match any personality. 4. they're super cheap. 5. they last longer then regular hair ties.

I have to disagree with it being easier to put in your hair. They also stretch out as regular bands. The fact that I know this proves that I'm a freak.

I'm just kind of making fun of myself. If you can't laugh at yourself! I think they are bit better for bushy hair. I think of the word freak as a good thing. If you did wear those,i'd go for the smaller balls. They aren't as easy as nic says. This was done at night after i have sweated and my hair kind of thins out. Honestly i find them strange, but if i'm with a girl that likes them, i'll go overboard and wear em out.
there is a special trick to putting them in that makes it SUPER easy. i thinkg girls are kind of born with the knack. i don't know how to explain how to do it, though. it's easy to show someone.
I need to turn in my girl card, I can't figure out how to work them.
Coming out of lurking on this one, since my good looking longhair days are gone and I admire guys who buck the trend I did.
An old girlfriend got me into the "ballies" for a while in my longhair days. She thought it would be "cute" if I wore one like she did and it was really no big deal for a low ponytail. It drew some extra attention in a half up....as most halfups on guys did back then and I only did that once out of my apartment.
These days, I rarely see anyone wear 'em...I suspect they are viewed as something for girls under ten. But they are easier to use....instead of dragging your hair through an elastic, you wrap the elastic around the tail and overlap the beads. They are easier on the hair to take out as well. Instead of a drag and pull, you undo the beads and release the holder.
How fascinating! I'm really glad you enjoy the balls on your hair.
