Hello everyone for my major update. My updates will now be posted on the 18th of each month, since my last official haircut was on December 18, 2006. After growing out my hair for 19 months now, my hair is just barely touching my shoulders. I also can almost put my hair in a complete ponytail, and for the loose hairs that still remain when I put my hair up, I can now tuck all of my hair behind my ears. It had also been five months after the trim I got for my cousin's wedding. I grew out my hair from a cropped cut.

My hair is almost long enough for me to put in a complete ponytail (I can tuck all my loose hairs behind my ears)

What I looked like 19 months ago before I started growing out my hair (the picture was actually taken in February 2, 2006, which is actually 29 months ago). I had a cropped cut at that time.
I hope you have enjoyed my update and I will be looking forward to posting my 20th month update on August 18 (or maybe a few days earlier or later if I am busy).

Thats a very cool update and your hair is really taking off as imagine you can even tail it:)Thats an indication that you are approaching longhairdom.It might be remnants of the awkward stage or maybe your hair will be on the wildside like nuttidave's hair is.Hmmmmmmm it'll be interesting to see as your hair gets longer.Anyway I can certainly see the results and they are promising.For the record I'll pick this one as my favorite as it shows your mane the best:)Your doin' great dude!Have a great weekend my friend.

Thanks for the statement Cloudy. By the way, I am not interested in having a beard. I shave off all my facial hairs. But I can't wait to have much longer head hair.

Very nice update Regardless. Hair looks very thick, the waves look good too. only a few more inches and you'll have a nice low ponytail. Keep it up and keep us posted.

Your hair is coming along very well. Due to the curls, your awkward stage will be somewhat long. Be patient, things will get better and those flips and waves will relax with added length. In a year your hair will be much longer and easier to deal with.

Hi Absalom, my hair is officially wavy. I cannot wait to have long wavy hair going down my back. As for the awkward stage, I am past the worst part of the stage. The flaps, the waves and the condition of my hair makes my dad think I need trims and such, which is obviously against the rules. Even if my hair does gets a bit damaged in the process (i.e. split ends), I will continue growing it out to my desired length without interruption. Anyway, thanks for the statement.

Thanks Tuckergeek. As you noticed from the bottom picture I posted, I started from a cropped cut and just 19 months later, it is just reaching my shoulders. It would actually be past my shoulders if I did not get a trim in February.

Hey Regardless - Your hair is coming along great. I have similar hair in texture and, trust me, you are through the worst part and heading toward the point where you will be extremely happy you have curly/wavy hair. Looking forward to your next update.
