i use a 3 minute maricule thing by aussie and a leave in conditioner and normal conditioner and shampoo every other day is this to muhc or will it all have its effects and make my hair awsomely healthy?
I don't know if it's too much, but I think too much punctuation and capitalization wouldn't be bad... :)

Stop acting as if you didn't understand a word he said, guys. Maybe English isn't his first language? For all we know it could be his third or fourth. Not to mention that lots of people type like that on the web. Deal with it.
On-topic: Too much of anything is bad. It can make your hair very dry and causes build-up. Use a clarifying shampoo every once in a while and you should be good.
Very well put.
I perfectly understood what he said (even if English is my second language). I think Capitalization, dots and commas are quite universal, yes ?

The man at the top of this thread is a native speaker of English, he has written some very-difficult-to-read sentences that should have been several sentences and ran on for many many lines, and he has been told about the rules several times by various people. At some point if he does not clean up his act, the moderators will tire of this and just ban him from posting.
A post is written once but read hundreds of times. Many of its readers are not native speakers of English. This is not the case with text messages between two friends, so the environment is very different. Different environments call for different behaviors. The purpose of the rule here is to make one person spend the time to make his message as easily readable as he can, to spare hundreds of people from each having to spend the time to try to figure out what he meant.
The moderators represent the users and they have decided that is what the majority of users want. They own the site and make the rules, so as I said, YOU deal with it.

I had no idea there was a typo/grammar "rule" here.
Would someone please post "the rule" on this thread?
Are people who are learning English exempted?
Thanks and peace.
Below is an excerpt from rule #11. The bottom line rather sums-up the problem here. ("Standard spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.") All can be found in the FAQ.
The purpose of our site is for us to communicate with each other, and posts should be made to be as readable by others as possible. As best you can, please post in English and use standard spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.
Neohippy asked about English learners. The rule goes on to say, "The purpose of this rule is not to discourage those with no or limited English skills from posting. It is to discourage those from using poor English who should know better."
A major purpose of the rule is to help English learners. They have more trouble understanding improper English than do native speakers.

Off topic...yes professor!

This is what I say if I have the same issue:
"I use a 3-minute miracle hair product by Aussie and a leave-in conditioner. I also use normal conditioner and shampoo every other day. Will my hair products damage my hair or will they make my hair awesomely healthy?"
You can clearly see the difference in those two paragraphs. In addition to this, I don't get what "muhc" really is unless he was talking about McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). But I generally do not use hair products (other than regular shampoo), so I have no idea. I just shampoo one a week, and water down my hair with plain water every day. I just let my hair oil down.
This is just one way of properly typing a paragraph.
Regardless

I don't think it's too much. Your hair may turn out softer.
Also, might I recommend you take a look at this fantastic and informative book ;)
If anything bad happens you can probably catch it before it gets worse and permanent. Treat your hair like you'd treat the English lang- NO WAIT!

Hi Eric, I know how hard it is for us, who did poorly in English class, to construct our thoughts on paper (or to the keyboard). Over the years I've learned to take my time, read what I've written then send. I also misspell a lot. So when I'm in doubt, I'll just Google it.
Remember a poorly constructed sentence whispers, where as a well constructed sentence will shout out loud!

I use a leave-in conditioner occasionally, for the frizzies. As long as what you're using washes out nicely when shampooing, then there should be no buildup. I had some cheap stuff that felt like silicone glue and it just would not wash out easily!

I agee there are too many hair things out there! You must research the ingredients in everything from hair products to food additives. Older hair damages so easily.
Having grown my hair long again and again over the years, I recommend staying away from the Aussie line of products. They create much dryness and breakage over the long run.
Currently, I am using Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Shampoo and Conditioner. They have natural plant oils that leave the hair with just enough weight and none of the dryness. I know how the name sounds, but the scent is not strong or that feminine and dissipates once the hair is dry. You may want to buy plain plastic bottles though to store the shampoo and conditioner in. The packaging has little flowers on it.
Also, Beauty Without Cruelty makes a "natural hold" hairspray that is non-drying without the typical chemicals that damage hair. It has no scent and the packaging is just a red bottle. The hold is not stiff, but flexible, good for windy days.
oops sorry all i admitted i have horrible grammer before though i'll try to fix it
Lol don't worry, I myself was just joking and assumed the same for others.
Still, that's good to hear :)
i found yours funny, i found some offensive but delt with thenm the way i feel best
