I use Aussie Hair Moisturizer Shampoo. Well I bought it, haven't used it yet. I'll update on the results when I do.
You might suggest using a neutral henna treatment. I recently posted an update that was taken just a few days after my henna treatment.
Neutral henna doesn't color your hair. I just locks in moisture and smooths the hair shaft. I discovered my hair was shiny and less frizzy after the treatment.

David,
Can you elaborate a little more on this "neutral henna"? Your previous post mentioned something about lemon juice as well. Is this something you did at home, or something you had done, say at a salon? Need... more... input... [grin]

The brand of neutral henna (Cassia Obovata) I used is Light Mountain. I purchased it at the Whole Foods Market in my area. Here's their information about hair care:

Here's a link to the Light Mountain web site:

Perhaps these can better describe the use and properties of the product than I can.

I forgot the rest of your question with my answers. :)
The instructions in the henna kit said that I could substitute lemon juice for water if I wanted to add highlights to my hair. The kit supplied a plastic cap and gloves, instructions and powder. I added boiling water and lemon juice to their powder packet...let it set for a few hours, applied to my hair (like mud), put on the plastic cap and sat under my wife's hair dryer machine and warmed for 30 minutes or so. Washed it out and was pleased.
