I haven't been too thrilled with my hair lately. It's been extremely humid almost every day and I find it makes my hair less that cooperative. I'm trying to just ignore it and realize that it will calm down and hopefully look better once the weather starts cooling off and drying out. I had a small trim of 1/2 inch last month. I've also noticed a lot of shedding lately. Perhaps there is some connection to the humidity as well. I can't wait for autumn my favorite season!
Here I am with my girlfriend Amanda. My hair had just been brushed out...
Dear Jason,
Im so glad to see you happy with a mate, as you are always with nature. You look so much incorporated together like in the nature pictures, in which you participate in it rather than use it as a background.
Ok I agree that humidity is giving your extra waves making it less cooperative as you called it, this is why I prefer for myself the perfect straight look for slightly wavy hair. But definitely it took nothing off your overall texture quality features
The shedding comes (as you definitely know) at the change of weather cold/hot/cold, maybe your summer was late. I used this year amonixil syringes, rather than K7. I did in April and Ill in September.
I like Amandas hand at your waste barely a handful clear of you nice falls. Its coming closer and closer and closer!
Note: Please check your if you still have my emails, especially the one with the attached pictures. I dont know if you ran across my correspondence with Mr. Bill.
Ramzi
Hi Ramzi,
Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it. I'm certainly looking forward to the end of this humid weather.
Yes, I remember your emails and believe I have most of them.
Regards,
Jason
Hi Jason,
As always, your hair looks awesome, and congratulations on finding a special someone, and this is a wonderful photo of both of you! I don't see any problems at all with your hair, and the increased waviness brought on by the humidity looks great.
I have to admit that I am not a fan of humidity myself, and it has been almost constant throughout the month of July. My hair is both wavier/curlier due to the humidity, and is somewhat frizzier as well, and for this reason, I have been avoiding any updates until the weather improves. Hopefully, once August rolls around, the air will turn drier again.
Take care,
David
Hi David,
I completely agree about humidity's effect on hair. I've had many more bad hair days than good ones this month.
Thanks for your kind words about the photo and my hair as well as my relationship.
You must be getting so excited for your trip especially because of whom you'll be meeting!! :) You'll be leaving before you know it.
Regards,
Jason
Bravo Jason! (I'll always remember you as StanleyBey) I used to follow your progress on your website. Your hair is as long as I've ever seen it, it looks great! What are your hair length goals?
Cheers.
- BC
Hi BC,
Thanks! I had hoped to grow to lower back but I'll only grow it longer if the ends stay thick. I'll have to see how it goes.
Jason
Hey Jason
The hair is looking great and it appears Amanda isn't having any problems with it. Thus the "myth" of Women not liking longhaired men cannot be all so true.
As for the shedding, I always shed more this time of year and it matters not the climate I am in. Guess it is just one of those things and nothing to be concerned about.
Best to you as always my friend.
Justin~
Hey Justin,
Thanks so much. I agree that it's a complete myth that women don't like longhaired men. Of course, there are some who don't but many who do. Amanda actually really likes my long hair.
That's reassuring to hear that I'm not the only one noticing more shedding in summer. Your magnificent mane obviously hasn't suffered for it.
Take care,
Jason
Hey! My favourite season is autumn too, for exactly that reason! Don't worry man, it'll all calm down. I've gotta say, out of all the people on this board your hair is definatley some of the finest, awesome colour, texture and length. You are a lucky guy, that's a lovely picture of you and your girlfriend.
Take care,
Neil
Hey Neil,
Isn't autumn great!! I love the crisp dry air.
Thanks for your kind words.
Take care,
Jason
Here in Seattle, summers are rarely humid, so I do not have any problems with my hair in regards to humidity. Summer is actually my favorite time of the year, since I get cold easily. It is also the driest time of the year. Where are you from, which is humid?
By the way, some places like Singapore and other tropical places are hot and humid throughout the year...the residents there aren't as lucky.
Regardless
My MySpace - feel free to add me as a friend
I live in Massachusetts. I'm the opposite of you as I get hot very easily and don't mind the cold at all.
Thanks Brian!
Hey Jason, great pic of you and your girlfriend and your hair is looking great as always.
Don't worry about the shedding, I went through that in early thru late spring and for some reason now I am noticing less shedding than usual...and my shedding at least what I considered excessive lasted for about 2 months. Don't sweat it.
Once again a very nice and natural pic of you and Amanda.
Cheers,
Max
Hey Max,
Thanks very much about the photo and my hair. It's great to have reassurance that I'm not the only one who has experienced shedding.
Jason
Hey! Look at the happy couple! =D Congratulations, man. Your hair really looks good with the extra wave, too. Hope all is well out east. Keep it growing, Jason! =)
-James
Hey James,
Thanks for the kind and supportive words!
Jason
Hi Jason,
I just wanted to send you my warmest congraulations to you and Amanda and this is a lovely picture of you both.
I understand about the humidity and we've certainly has quite a few humid days and hopefully we will get some restbite from the humid conditions as we don't get such humidity for days. Hopefully a ncie big storm will come and clear it. I also hope it's not that humid in Germany over the next few days.
Cheers,
John.
Hi John,
Thanks so much. Have fun at Wacken!!
Jason
Hi Jason,
Thats a fantastic pic you posted as the two of you look so happy together with hair that justs compliments you both.I do admit I'm surprised as I had no idea you met Amanda since I don't recall you mentioning her before.Regardless she looks like a very sweet person and I take it she's a longhair lover too:)
As for the the heat and humidity I hear you loud and clear. Its been tough keeping my hair nice as it just frizzes up like crazy.I do love the summer months except what it does to my hair.Well I guess it goes with the territory. So Jason thanks for posting such a pleasing pic as I'm so happy for you:)Be well my friend!
Mark
Hi Mark,
I met Amanda in May and we've been getting closer and closer ever since. Amanda does like my long hair which is a huge plus! Thanks very much for your kind words. I guess we have to take the good and bad that comes with summer.
Regards,
Jason
Amazing! Don't let the humidity get the best of you. Heck, I have to put up with it 365 days a year lol! Looking good! You guys make a nice couple :-)
Hi Chris,
Thanks! I can't imagine living in such weather conditions every day. I don't know if I could do it!
Thanks again,
Jason
Your hair looks fantastic, Jason. It is getting really long now. I have been shedding excessively too, maybe it is the weather.
It is good that you have a girlfriend that likes your hair.
Scott
Hi Scott,
I've heard from several others too that summer seems to be a common shed time so it may be normal.
Thanks,
Jason
Looks great Jason !
Thanks Rene!
Hello Jason,
It seems that the humidity accentuate your curls :) Lovely color, also. For the shedding, I myself notice a similar in my hair the last week.
Cool picture by the way. Nice to see you found someone ;)
Bye
Vivien
Hi Vivien,
Thanks for the compliments. Perhaps summer is a time that many experience increased shedding.
Take care,
Jason
Well, I think your mane looks fantastic...and apparently I'm not the only one. ;-)
Mouse
Thanks so much Mouse!!
I think your hair looks great Jason! I would die from a mane like that.
It's wonderful that Amanda appreciates your hair, I can certainly see the happiness in both your faces.
Bruce
Thanks on both counts Bruce. We are very happy!
Very nice photo Jason, both the mane and the gal. Your hair looks fantastic as usual, and I see it's still managing staying back behind your shoulders which is a great milestone; helps keep you a little cooler than wearing it straight down in front of the shoulders...
Yea I'm looking forward to fall as well, I'm in north NJ so the weather here is about the same as by you...damn humid.
Take care Jason,
-Phil
Hi Phil,
Thanks very much. Yeah, my hair now pretty much stays behind my shoulders which is a big plus.
Take care,
Jason
Your hair looks great! You should not be worried about it at all.
Thank you!
That's a terrific photo Jason, you both look great. Amanda is really cute, you're a lucky guy Jason :)
Hi Chris,
Thanks very much for your kind words. I do feel very lucky to have met her!
Jason
Hey Jason, your hair is awesome! Belt-length isn't too far away at this point. I'm glad to see such a wonderful photo with smiling people as well. Take care!
Peace,
Ryan
Hi Ryan,
Belt-length would be amazing. As long as it stays thick at the ends, that remains my goal.
Thanks very much.
Take care,
Jason
"...I can't wait for autumn my favorite season!..."
You and me both !! I call it "Walter Weather" (which by the way is only 59 days away...yes I count...Ha!)
No matter though, your hair still looks great...
...as does Amanda...you two make a good looking couple !!
Thanks for Sharing
Walter
Thanks for your kind words Walter. I feel very fortunate to have met Amanda.
The humidity is definitely a factor. Your hair still looks great to me and congrats on a pretty girlfriend too. Hope all is well in Mass. and that you have had a good summer.

Hi Matt,
Thank you for all your kind words.
