I read this on multiple women's hair care sites and I wanted to check here before trying it. I've read that to improve the quality of your hair, you should take a section, twist it gently, and cut off any ends that stick out. It seems to me that this would only be shortening hairs that have not yet grown to the length of the longest hairs on the head. Is this correct?
Also, it has now been 3 weeks that I have not used shampoo and my hair feels softer than before. However, I am having to wash my hair every 2 days instead of every 4 with shampoo. I may go back to using shampoo, but less often than before (maybe every two hair washes instead of every wash).
Cheers,
Peter
That is a method for trimming split ends. For that it is ok. But if they aren't split, don't clip.
Wash as often as you feel is right for you and your hair.
The twisting helps the splits to be visible. Don't cut every single hair that sticks out....just any the is split.
You can go to a George Michael salon and have this done. They specialize in long hair.
