It’s been a while since I posted here. Over the past months I noticed that the length of my hair hasn’t been changing and the ends were getting very rat tail like and a lot of tangles, I have been growing it for nearly 3+ years lost track of the time. I think my last post here was when I was at 29 months and since them my hair has not changed in fact it looks shorter in before trim picture witch was taken about 2 months ago than it did at 29 months. After a lot of thought I decided to have some of my hair cut off.
I still want long hair, I was worried going to saloon would change that as some stylists don’t seem to understand men who want long hair. That aside I went to a place not far from where I live, I walked in and ask for a trim as they told me they don’t take appointments it was a walk in place at the time it was not busy so they took my name etc and ask me to wait. My turn came up and got a nice friendly female who washed and shampooed my hair. She took a look at my hair and said “ you like your hair long so just a trim and tidy up today” I said “yes the ends get very messy” she suggested and showed me how much to take off while still keeping some length.
In the end it all turned out well my hair feels so much fuller, healthy and still got some length. I was worried over nothing. I still going to try and have it longer maybe mid back if I can but if it turns out like it was then I will be happy with the length I currently have and maintain it there.
The pictures on the right are the after trim ones the one on the left was taken about 3 months ago.
Your hair still looks good on you after the trim. The ends actually look smoother after the trim, and even then, your hair is still a touch longer than mine. I got a trim as well in February for my cousin's wedding, and I looked worse afterwards. I hope you keep growing it out.
