Hi all,
just a word of warning i am currently working in italy and so finding hair products is a nightmare ( language issue ) so i normally go into salons and ask in there for the right products. Normally i receive a good product and all is well, however recently i had been given some products by kerastase ( french i think ) after trying them it left my hair incredibly dry. so much so that it took two days and lots of conditioner to restore some moisture. i used an online translator to check she had given me the right products for my hair type ( very curly, prone to frizz if messed with ) and she had. My advice is to stay away from the entire line . she sold me shampoo, conditioner and curl definition spray AVOID THEM ALL ESPECIALLLY THE SHAMPOO!!
Thanks a lot for the heads up :D
I'm trying out silicone-free conditioners and printed a list from the Long Hair Community. Last time I joined my mom for the grocery shopping and carefully examined the hair-care section. I was extremely surprised because on the bottom shelf, hidden in the dark were a whole line of such conditioners!! I bought 3, LOL.
I'm still surprised. I was SURE they don't even exist in my country (which imports everything and usually the only hair care stuff on sale are Pantene, Sunsilk and Wella).
I bought Alberto Balsam conditioners and tried the "tea therapy" one yesterday. Works wonders! My hair is still smooth after a night's sleep and without it it tangles up to a bird's nest in the morning. I definitely recommend this line, especially the conditioners.
Thanks again for your warning.
Shawn

well, i'm using anti-dandruff kerastase shampoo for dry hair, and it's the only one that really prevents dandruff...and i didn't notice any other change in my hair :/
