I have recently received several positive comments hairwise, especially regarding my attempt at a half-tail showing off my racing stripes so well!
I am now comfortable being a longhair! I feel that I have made it.
Just wanted to share with my friends here on the MLHH.
Big George
You are definitely a long hair. It looks great too. Now comes the (hopefully easy) Task of defending it to all those you run into who are asses.

Just as you said in the other thread: "Why should I defend having long hair; you don't defend being ugly".
I have no problem replying in kind.
Looks really nice on you, George. Shows that your hair is at a great length too. I'm glad you feel like a longhair now, you sure look like one!
Hegg
Thanks; it just goes to prove that the end result is worth the journey and the wait.
Lookin' good, George, and don't worry about the stripes. As I keep telling people: "I don't care if it's grey, as long as it's still attached!!"
Jim
HaHaHa; I agree fully! I appreciate your comments.
Looks great George, great news that you are as comfortable now with your hair as you look cool :)
Congratulations
Take care George
Hey Chris, great to see you here! Thanks for the support!
And the racing stripes look great! Glad you're feeling confident with your mane.

Many thanks; I'm kinda liking the stripes also. Now to just get comfy wearing a half tail in public is the next step!
HI Big George,
Thats cool that you are hearing positive feedback from people regarding your hair as why not.The pics you posted show how well your hair has grown out and it looks really full.Certainly in my opinion you look fabulous with longhair:)I'm certainly glad to see that you had the courage and beat the odds by trying longhair when most in society are afraid of what others might think. My answer....Who Cares!LOL Take care my friend.
Mark
Hi Mark; yea, for a while the odds kept tugging at me, especially in this conservative area in which I live. I had a good day the other day; I saw TWO longhair guys at the same time at the store!
And as I tell people, I can't believe how much I am enjoying it!
Great look George !!
Thanks for Sharing
Walter
Thanks Walter, it's slowly becoming second nature now. I appreciate you comments
That's a great look for you George! The "racing stripes" are a badge of honour. Display them proudly!
Bruce
Thanks, Bruce. I like the way they look also; getting comfy with the half tail is just the next step in the journey.
Looks cool George!
peace, jonalbear
Thanks, guy!
I wish I could pull of the half tail. My problem is, I don't have enough hair on top of my head to pull it off. I can however, do braids, buns, and all the other fun stuff. :-)
You hair looks great! I love the "Racing Stripes"! They add charactor. :-)
Thanks. The half tail and the full tail fill out my repertoire right now; and still getting used to the half tail. The stripes are interesting at times!
Your hair looks great, and I like your ponytail.

Hi George,
This is a great look, and congratulations on this new style! However, it DOES make me feel guilty for only wearing mine in a boring old ponytail or loose, and time for me to get more creative! However, I will be getting a little bit of "assistance" in a month from now, which should be a LOT of fun!
Keep it growing,
David

Thanks "Pops"; no need to feel guilty; it took me a long time to even begin to get a little creative.
Just don't go get too wild next month!
You have made it! And it looks well! Very well!
Congratulations from all of us.
jeffrey
Thanks Jeffrey; much appreciated!
You really have made it Big George, its great that you feel confident enough to experiment and wear different styles, you certainly should be proud of what you have achieved. Its been fun watching your progress.
Cheers Dave
Thanks, Dave! It has been fun, especially for an old fart like me! And I am a bit proud; I didn't know when I first started out if I would ever get to this point.
