Hi there,
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the lovely summer weather. I've just got back from a trip to the Wacken Metal Festival in Germany.
It also had the pleasure of meeting Kevin again and we had a great time over in Germany and a great festival and some very good bands played and a few drinks! The band highlights were : Carcass, At The Gates, Watain, Negura Bunget, Nifelheim, Lord Belial and Alestorm. The performance from Maiden was ok.
It was good to see you again Kevin and hope you enjoyed the good old english hospitality and we didn't quite get to the whole of the UK during your 10 day trip! As you can see we did catch the sun a bit.

Awesome John! Glad to hear you guys had an great time; I don't see how you couldn't with Wacken's bill. I wish I could travel there one year. Luckily I got to see At The Gates in NY and I'm hopefully going to see Carcass when they come around soon. I would LOVE to see Lord Belial, I'm sure they were awesome.

Hi John.Wow you survived the mighty Wacken but I'm sure it was a great time for both of you.Kevin is so fortunate to be able to go to that event as I'm sure many metal fans in the US would have loved to be there including me!You can always dream I guess:)Anyway I trust you took good care of our Prez as we don't want to loose him!LOL.Thanks for the cool pic of the two of you as you both look well rested.Cheers

This must be one of the happiest photos I have ever seen posted and I am so glad that our Great Longhaired President had a chance to go to the festival with yet another distinctive longhair.

My apologies for my late reply, since I was hardly on the hyperboard at all yesterday! What a wonderful picture of the two of you, and both of you have the most fabulous hair, and a true inspiration to everyone. Perhaps, one day, I might share a pint with you!

Hi All, We had a great time and as you can see bot a bit of sun.
I want to thank everyone for their comments and as soon as I get caught up on things I'll post a few more pics. Lots of hair there.
