I've been getting many of these annoying tangles lately, and they're just impossible to tame down, even though I condition my hair very well and use some leave-in oil, nothing works :/.So my idea is to go to a hairdresser and have my hair ''hydratated'',which basically cuts out most of it's mass, leaving it more silky and oily(tired of dry hair),and straighten just the ends with flat iron,so I can get rid of the annoying flips once and for all, which will be a big step to my hair growing process. So anyways,I would just like to know your opinions and if you have any solutions for my hair issue. There's a pic of it's current condition.Peace :).
My hair is exactly like that man, my hair curls in waves at the end and it drives me mad. The best thing to do in my opinion, is to just ignore it and just let it grow. When your hair gets longer, it will be much less of a hassle, its all about patience.
As for dry hair, just look up any shampoos and conditioners that mosturize the hair. Don't go to a hairdresser, because they will most likely damage or even cut your hair. Going to a hairdresser is usually only for trimming the hair or getting rid of split ends.

Thanks for the tips, man.Actually,I would not trim my hair in the hair dresser, but just straighten the curling ends,so it would be easier for me to grow my hair long.
Your hair looks very good to me. The curling at the ends will go away as your hair grows longer. As for the dryness, your hair does not look that dry. Mine is much dryer. Keep growing!

That's actually a good pic of my hair,it tends to get drier than that XD.
What you have going on now is perfectly normal and happens to all of us when growing our hair out. It is really impossible to have "Picture-perfect" looking hair while going through the Awkward stage. Some guys are lucky in that they go with the flow and "enjoy" the many new and wild looks that come during this period. This can turn worries around and make the whole process fun! :-)
Having it cut at this point will only set you back and the same will appear all over again when the hair grows out. The other treatments mentioned sound as if they will do damage to your hair.
Perhaps before doing anything, give this a try first. It is the safest of them all and you will not lose unnecessary length:
1. Carefully Finger-Comb your hair and detangle snags and knots as you come across them.
2. Follow-up with a very wide toothed comb.
3. For some shine, finish off with a boars bristle brush.
Your hair looks quite well to me and looks like ideal hair to work with.
Best of luck to you.
Thanks,Justin.I do not plan to have any trims until i've reached at least mid-back,and I've actually done pretty much everything you mentioned, except for the boar bristle brush, but I don't think I will be able to find one here in Brazil,as I've never seen one or heard people talking about it,lol.Anyways, the hidratation process does not offer much damage to the hair,as it basically just leaves the hair more silky and adds a lil bit of oil to it,and I've done it before,so it's not that big of a deal.
