I bought a good quality flat iron today and gave it a shot. I'm actually really impressed with the results, most of the annoying flips and curls are now gone and my hair is overall straight and shiny. I'll try and get some pics up a little later.
Good for you Mike, just be careful not to over do it. I have never used a straight iron so I can't speak from experience, but others here have and they have urged caution.
I look forward to your pics from your experiment. I did see your post earier, it's good to be home isn't it. Your hair is coming along nicely...but NO MORE CUTTING!

Yeah, it seems like something I'll only do if I have to wear my hair down for the time being. Hopefully by Christmas, I'll be far enough through the awkward stage that I won't have to treat my hair as much to get it to behave. As for being home, yeah it definately is good, I'm burnt from being on the road now it's cooldown time. :)
