Well, i'm travelling to Sunny Beach in Bulgaria next wednesday and i'm wondering if there's any specific i should know concerning my hair when i'm in a hot climate, i know that the sea water can be quite harsh against it but i dunno, i think i will be keeping it tied back under my baseball cap mostly anyways.
I'm really lookin forward to this journey because it's been like 4 years since i've been outside of Scandinavia:D
Take care everyone and seeya when i'm back!
I can't on Bulgaria as I've never been there.
But do enjoy your holiday mate.
Cheers,
John.B
Thanks John! I'm so excited before the journey, only one week left to go now, i imagine there's gonna be quite alot of partying for me and my friends there:D
Also i wanted to commend you on your latest update, it looked great, i really just didn't had the time to respond to it at the time.
Rock on!
Hi Simon,
All I can offer is that as I recall the black sea is a bit polluted so after a swim I would shower and wash and condition my hair if nothing else to feel better about it.
Funny thing for me is when thinking of sunny sandy beaches Bulgaria is not a country that comes to mind. With the fall of the iron curtain almost 20 years ago I'm sure much has changed.
Have a good holiday.
Kevin
Enjoy your holiday and show us some pictures after your back.
Hi Simon,
Strangely enough, the climate on the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria is comparable enough to the southeastern United States where I live - hot and sticky during the summer, but not quite as hot as here. However, it is more of a cross between the Mediterranean climate pattern and the humid continental climate of Central and Eastern Europe. It will be humid and hot and your hair will probably have a good bit of frizz developing and feel sticky, sticking to your neck, etc. Just grin and bear it, the humidity isn't going to hurt your hair, it just won't look as good as it usually does in the Scandinavian weather probably.
I have heard that the Black Sea resorts in Bulgaria are very nice and not as overcrowded as other beach venues in Europe. Hope that you have a nice time. Be sure to take lots of pictures and post them for us to see.
Thanks, Matt B.
