Guys, I just wanna say that the reason you might still see a lot of longhaired guys not financially secure, has to do with an insecurity that exists among our kind. I believe from constant negative feedback and constantly being told that, "our hair is going to hinder our success with job prospects", that we've internalized this belief and therefore don't bother to pursue certain careers/jobs due to the internalized belief that, "they'll never hire me, they won't like me, I have no chance". I just wanted to point that out, because this internalized belief has affected me in the past with a particular job where I could've been making 100k per year. It's not good to think this way. It's important we try our best to not let negativity from others give us a negative mindset about what we can do and acheive. I know the negativity can be so bad and it's hard to break away from this mindset, but it's important we keep telling ourselves WE CAN DO IT, and internalize it!

Sometimes ppl should be able to read between the lines. I don't think that happens very often here.

Hair is just hair. Anyone who is hard working, has a great personality and exudes confidence will get to where they want. No one will even notice the long hair anymore. It will just be part of you like a pair of pants are a part of you.
