Hi everyone,
August marks my 24th month of growing my hair out from your typical short crew cut style. I can now put a full pony tail up with out any resistance or hair falling out of the tie - finally! My goal is at least Classic length. Anyways, here are the photos:

Hey, your hair is superb. You obviously take good care of it. I haven't seen any pictures of you with short hair, but there is no question that long hair suits you perfectly. You'll be able to reach classic length easily. Take care.

That is probably because I have had a good diet since I began growing in 2006 and I drink A LOT of water everyday. Your hair is shorter probably because of that trim you had earlier this year but don't fear, your hair will continue it's growth. Thanks again for your words! Cheers.

Congrats on achieving two years of growth, I just remember my two year update 10 months ago.
You got an amazing mane for only two years. You have some beautiful, shiny and healthy looking hair. I like it's straight texture, as I have curly hair which I like, too.
Take on with your hair-care-routine, from what I can see you are defenitely doing it right!
It's cool to see another person who likes black-metal. ;)
Good luck for your further hair-journey - unfortunately my mane misses a few strands now due to a "stupid" person.

Haha, thank you. I have not done anything to my hair that would possibly even damage it a little, I'm very protective over it which is why it is in the condition it appears to be.

I'm close to that length but I'm afraid of being very close to terminal length already :(

You have an amazing head of hair. I have some questions though if you don't mind me asking. What's your routine for taking care of your hair? I have similar hair to you (texture and type), though not nearly as long yet. I'm only at fourteen months and I have black hair. Congratz on two years of growing!

First of all, thank you for the great comments.
My routine: Every two days I wash my hair with Shampoo and conditioner. Though I ran out of conditioner a week ago so it's just been shampoo lately. Before I wash my hair, I usually brush it with a boar bristle brush to take out any tangles so it's nice and easy to wash. Not only that but my diet is a big part of it. I drink lots of water each day and eat healthy foods that benefit my hair's status. I hope this helps and if you have any more questions, please, feel free to ask!

Your hair looks fantastic, Hegg. Whatever you do for your hair care routine works very well for you. The quality is superb. You should be able to reach classic length in maybe 3 years, unless you are super tall, in which case it will take a little longer. To get maximum length, be sure to eat a healthy diet and try to get enough sleep. (Teenagers should try to get 9 hours of sleep per night, if possible.) Keep growing that mane.

I have to say that in the league of straight hair, yours has to be somewhere near the top! Your hair is nice and thick and it great condition with no signs of breakage or damage whatsoever. It is great now and will be EPIC when it's even longer : )
