how can i straighten my hair? i have curly hair but i can't straighten it can you give me some tips or maybe even some product names?

Um, I wouldn't recommend this as it's very hard on hair, but there are sodium hydroxide relaxers. Don't even think of doing this at home. If you really must, go to a professional who's had experience with this stuff. Ugh.
Then there's variations on perm solutions; the stuff little old ladies use to put curl in their hair can be used to take half of your curls out. Again, go to a regular salon for this. It's less damaging than the sodium hydroxide relaxers, but still pretty tough.
You could use a curling iron or flat iron to take the curl out, but that would last only until the hair got wet again (shower or rain). Or you could try putting it up in large rollers and then combing it out straight.
That's about all I can think of, right offhand . . . anyone have any other suggestions?
