How do you guys deal with hair clogs in your shower. My shower seems to constantly get clogged no matter how I try to unclog it. Any drain uncloggers that work particularly well?
Liquid Plummer. Pour it in for 30 minutes and repeat 3 or 4 times until the water goes down fast. After EVERY SHOWER be sure to get all hairs out of the drain. I assume you have a drain filter.
Avoid any Drano type product.
I've actually had to call a plumber to snake my drain because of hair.
Between me and my wife, well, there's a lot of hair there. Lol.
I was given a tip once to pour a bottle of bleach into the drain.
Haven't tried it yet but this just might just work.
Much cheaper than a plumber.
Goo luck!
to disolve a hair clog. A bottle of bleach is overkill in most cases. 1/2 a cup is usually enough to do the job, and costs maybe a dime. Pour it in the drain and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Rinse the drain with hot water afterwards. It works for me.

Hi Garth you drain clogger you!LOL.Sorry about that couldn't help myself.
Ok this is what I do to combat this problem.First of all go to a dollar store and get a plastic drain cover that just lays over the drain at the bottom of the tub and catches the hair before it can go down. That way its easy to pull off the loose hairs and discard them. Now if the hair already is clogging the drain then try what I use.I bought it at Home Depot and its called crystal clog remover made by Zep commercial. It says right on the label that it dissolves hair in the drain and I found it works really good. Its in a white plastic bottle with a blue label. If you get it let me know how you make out.Good luck my friend:)

Once you get your drains unblocked, prevention is better than cure. I now brush my hair before washing which means there's much less hair to go down there.
