A lot of topics on MLHH lately have to do about shedding.
While I am on the shedding topic, have you ever pulled out a strand that is different in color on one end compared to the other? No, we are not talking about dyes or artificial colorings.
Occasionally, I do pull out a strand that is my normal brown color on one end, and silver on the other, on the same strand. Usually, when that happens, the root end is silver, and the outer end is a normal brown. I did pull out a strand that was the other way around one time.
Since strands are very small, I cannot effectively take a picture of the strand. Please note that I never ever alter the color of my hair, so that's out of the question. I just wanted to share my experience with you.

Yeah Regardless, It happens to me ever so often...
But I have dark golden blond hair, some hairs sometimes look like a dark blond, sometimes a lighter shade of blond with gold, or even a few hairs that even look like a light brown...
But I don't know, I'm a blond, so that varies...
But, not everyone's hair is going to be completely the same shade, and with the bits of gray, I don't know, some people start getting a few gray hairs in their twenties, and I've even heard of people in their teens, but that can be pretty rare, so I personally don't know...
I agree. I do have some, but not very noticeable, strands of gray hair, even as young as 18 years. I only get such strands coming out of my head once in a while.

The hair I shed is always different, I've got very thick hairs but also some thinner hair. Also the color is not always 100% the same and like you I've also got some grey hairs.
It's nature not something produced in a factory so you can't expect every hair to be the same.
Perhaps you are one of the fortunate few who have premature silver hair, and apart from blond, there is no more dramatic color in my view. Unfortunately, even though I am of advanced age, I have a genetic defect which keeps my hair blond/brown with a few strands of gray.
Cal.
It is interesting enough, Cal. As long as I do not bald, then I am fine with a few silver strands.
