A lot of you guys know me 'round these parts from some years ago (not sure how many years though, I am terrible with passing time). I used to post as TREYN, but this time around I decided to change it up. Anyway, I thought I would rejoin the community again. I have been growing my hair (AGAIN!!! AAAHHH!!!) since November 17th of 2007 (just under 10 months) from a buzzed cut and this time around I challenged myself and COMMITTED to go to the age of 40. NO MATTER WHAT!!! I will turn 40 years old November 27th of 2010. Good to be back. I will see you guys here from time to time! Peace!

Hi Dlee. Your hair looks good. What are you going to do with your hair on your 40th birthday? I hope you are not going to shave it off.

Either I will love what I have and keep it or hate it and cut it. I imagine with the way things are going this time that I will love it by then because I will be where I have never been before with length. I have grown my hair in the past and gotten far with it and then somewhere along the way I will have a week or so where my hair is getting on my nerves and BAM, I get it cut. Not long after I will regret it terribly and start over. But this time, 40 years old is my no cut commitment and I am determined to stick to it. Thanks for the reply, bro! Peace!

Done 40 and still growing it and that's my commitment!
60 for me and I have no intentions to cut whatsoever. And yes, it really is quite simple. If one REALLY wants long hair they have it at any age. It works well for the young all the way up to the antique. Longhair is ageless!

Ahh, to be under 40 again... I remember it well: dinosaurs still ruled the Earth; automobiles had not yet been invented, --- and computers were simply the smarter fellow Cave Men who could add or subtract better than the rest of us mere mortals wearing the same style of bear-skin jock straps... But, hey, I'm digressing from the main point here!
You will make it to 40, long hair intact, I promise --- I have faith in you (and it doesn't hurt any that you also happen to have a GREAT head of hair on your head to work with)!!
