Since the weather greatly improved today I decided to jump in the car and drive out to Lambertville, NJ and then trek across the bridge to New Hope,PA.For those of you in the know these two towns across the Delaware River from each other are quite a tourist attraction mainly in the fall and spring.Lots of antique shops and art galleries so bring lots of money if you want to buy something.LOL.I just wanted to walk around and check out the crowd.Unfortunately didn't see any longhairs as that was very surprising for this area but I may have missed them all:( I did grab a quick bunch of pics that I'd thought to share with you.So this first one is on the connecting bridge walking back from New Hope to Lambertville.
This next pic is taken from the bridge looking south on the Delaware River at the NJ side.
Finally this last pic is of me just before I was headed out of town.I figured since I missed any longhaired sightings I'd just put myself in there. At least it wasn't a total lose.LOL.Thanks for checking out my pics of today.

Great picture Mark, today was a really beautiful day here as well.
Take it easy :)
Hi Chris. It certainly was a nicer day than Saturday with all the rain that blew through.I hope you had a great day yourself and took in the fine conditions as your area had to be just as nice.I'm glad to see you posting a bit more here Chris as it is cool when former users come back and are active again. You are always welcome my friend:)
Mark
Hey Mark, thanks for sharing those great pics, have not been to that area in at least 10 years. Very scenic and that was a great pic of you and all that beautiful long hair. Wonder if one day I will make it that far...Hope you had a great weekend and thanks again for sharing.
Cheers,
Max
Hi Max.Hope you had a fantastic weekend yourself as California is always beautiful this time of year if not most times:)Actually the scenery will be much nicer once the fall foliage is underway as the hills will be so colourful. Thanks for the kind words about my hair Max.I feel if you are patient your mane will be awesome in another year of two not that it isn't already:)It just will be that much longer.Take care Max my friend as I will be talking to you.Cheers
Mark
Hi Mark,
Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos, and I am delighted that you had such a great time in your visit to Pennsylvania. Of course, your hair looks great, as always!
As you know, I am on my special road trip, and am currently at my final destination. My drive went very well, and I am nowin the living room of a special someone.
Thank you for sharing these photos, and talk to you soon!
Take care,
David
Hi David. You are such a real friend being that you are taking the time to comment on my post when you should be enjoying yourself away from the hyperboard.I guess you are as dedicated as I am since I check the board when I'm away on vacations too.
I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures I posted as I was thinking afterward that you are on the far west end of PA and here I am on the opposite east end.LOL.Probably about a 6 hr.drive between us.As you now know PA is quite a large state.
Thanks again David for your kind words as always and I truly hope your adventure is living up to your expectations as I'm rooting for you:)Looking forward to hearing all about it when you return home later this month.Cheers my friend!

To bad you didn't spot any other longhairs, but at least you've got one picture from a longhair :)
Now I'm growing out my hair I find myself doing the same thing, before I didn't notice them like I do now.
Ah yes we are a rare breed still unfortunately but maybe the tide is turning as we can only hope and you Vincent can help the movement by growing your hair to your butt:)Now how's that for a statement!LOL.
Mark
Great pics Mark, sadly you don't find many longhairs in antique shops. Looks like a beautiful day for a walk though.
Kevin
Hey Kevin.Yes it turned out to be a beautiful day which inspired me to make that trip to PA.Too bad I couldn't find any longhairs but it was late when I arrived so maybe they all took off.Certainly a lot of bikes in New Hope but the bikers were kind of short haired except for the women with them.
One thing that was strange as I walked across that steel bridge was that someone driving across shouted something at me but it sounded like gobledigook from a moving vehicle.I'm sure though it wasn't that awful line...."Get A Haircut!" LOL.. more like "COOL Hair Dude!"
Mark
I remember visiting New Hope, PA, --- it's a cute town (and yes, you're right about all the antique stores). It's been years ago; but, hey, it was at least after the invention of the automobile (lol)!!
Glad you had a good time there, Mark; but, you're wrong about there being no longhairs that day: YOU were there... that counts, doesn't it?
Take care, --- and I enjoyed chatting over the phone w/ you the other day!
- Ken
Hi Ken.Yes I guess you are correct that I was one longhair that was there that day:)New Hope is quite an interesting place as you well know being there once yourself. It was fun just to walk around to check out the crowd.I'll have to go back in a few weeks when the leaves start to turn as the hills will look so cool in living colour.
Ken it was a pleasure chatting with you Saturday as I hope I didn't keep you from work.I'd enjoy chatting again with you and do feel free to call me if you wish.Have a wonderful day Ken and looking forward to hearing from you again my good friend:)
Mark
Lookin' good Mark! I know the area well, we have friends in Stockton,NJ
Bruce
Hey Bruce,
Yea I find that more people have heard of New Hope and are familiar with the surrounding area. That's cool that you have friends in Stockton as I've ridden my bike through there many a time when I have the urge to do the D&R canal trail ride. Its really hard to believe its still NJ!LOL.Thanks for the comments Bruce and who knows maybe someday we can meet in Stockton:)Cheers
