Well, unfortunately I've discovered a new frustration for us longhaired folks. Crutches and wheelchairs!!!!
I'm currently having to use these items to get around, and have found that if I don't watch out, my hair tends to get caught around the top of the crutches under my arms and yank. Or when someone pushes me in the chair, it gets caught when they grab the handles.
Keeping it in a tail most of the time limits the problem, or braiding it would eliminate it, but I've never been a fan of keeping it tied up all the time.
Oh well, hopefully in a couple of months I'll be back to wearing out my shoes evenly.

Sorry to hear of this Jim, but thank goodness from what you say it will only be for a few months. But still, what a bummer. Here is hoping for a full recovery as soon as possible.
