So.....what does everyone do with their hair at night? I don't tie mine up, but I do flip it up over my pillow so that I'm not thrashing around on top of it. I'm afraid that, with really fine hair, sleeping with it bound up would do more damage. Those of you who don't tie it up, where do you put it?
I braid mine in a french braid.
Thats the best I think.
Unfortunately, mine's not long enough yet.
I wish I could do that. Is it difficult to do such a braid yourself? I'd like to try that a night and see how it would work for me. Hope you're well, Dusk.
Cheers,
Hegg
I usually let it lie wherever, though like you I often take it out from under me (I usually sleep on my back). I think I've tied it back a few times.
If it's not long enough to braid yet (though you can french braid with quite short hair you can switch to satin pillow cases which are gentler on your hair. That's what I did when my hair was long. my boyfriend braids his.
My hair isn't long enough so i just sleep the way I do, but I make sure that I don't bend my hair on my pillow when I sleep

Silk pillow cases are the only way to go if you use a pillow (who doesn't?). Less friction on your hair, thereby lessening tangles and knots. .... oh, and let it hang. :-)

My hair isn't long enough to do anything special with it so I just let it loose and solve the mess in the morning.
When it long enough I think I will sleep with it in a ponytail.
