What can be done to keep hair from flipping out at the ends? I hate it! I've found a few things that help, such as washing but not conditioning, and never brushing. But is there something I could tie it with for maybe a couple of hours so when I untie it it's nice and controlled? Maybe a ponytail where I also tie up/wrap the entire length of the tail? Thanks.
You know, i find just twisting the ends into a few little twist braids, making sure they lay flat, and then combing it straight once it has dryed, is very effective for me. There is only very minor curling at the sides (not noticeable unless you really look for it tho) at the very bottom on the back when i do that, the rest of it lays flat :)
Brush your hair and hold it so it's flat against your head and neck. Then press it into a pillow and stay there for about 10-30 minutes, read a book or something. It "irons" it out a lot flatter.
Yes, it's true. I've found that this helps A LOT. I have been doing this for awhile and it does help to control your hair. I like this method specially because my hair is wavy. And while you're in there, there's nothing better than to use that time and read something or listen to music or just reast for awhile.

(with dry hair) Try brushing from the underside while rotating the brush in the direction you want the hair to go.
