As for Death Magnetic:
1. Awesome in quantity!
2. Average in quality and it's a first step to better things!
A saw pole of of the local pub metalheads in Reading that like their Thrash was "average".
So if you want to reply with awesome I'd suggest you look it up in the Oxford English Dictionary!

Metallica's new album is OK,though I miss the old times...
Aww didums poor Lars, and perhaps it will spurn him and his mates to make something even better to listen to in the future!
I thought the album was horribly mediocre. It's wasn't abysmal, but it's a far cry to the Kill 'Em All/Ride The Lightning days, the only 2 albums by Metallica that are excellent, in my opinion.
