Your hair has really come a long way and you are certainly a longhair. Considering the curls, you have attended a good length quickly.
Looks like you have a great and supportive family.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos, and your hair is coming along very well indeed! Your curls are thick and healthy. That is a cool kilt as well, and speaking of Scottish heritage, my Mom was born in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Keep it growing,
David

Hey Mark,
This is a top update you have posted. You're looking cool in your scottish dress and the hair I have to say goes remarkably well with it all. You've made very good progress, considering the slight curl in your hair, it seems to have grown quite quickly. It's in very good condition too. I look forward to seeing your next update.
Take care mate.
Neil
Neil thanks alot me laddy! gotta love the Scottish dress lol its awesome with long hair for sure! thanks for the kind words brother and talk soon!
Looks great, Mark! Fantastic progress for 1 1/2 years.
I love the kilt. Hopefully I'll be able to get an Irish equivalent to celebrate that heritage. Not much inclined to just guess about it, though, and buy something online.
All the best. Keep on growing.
Shawn
(Mr.Crow)

Man, Mark your hair is getting so damn long! Looks fantastic and goes great with the whole Scottish look. Great pictures as you look quite pleased, and rightly so :)
That is quite a fancy suit you have there, did you get it in Scotland Mark? Is the tartan pattern from your family's line? I know little about them but I thought I read that they were different for different clans.
Thanks for posting, great pictures of you with your family. Is anybody else in your family interested in the English/ Celtic culture as much as you or do they just think you went off the deep end? :)
Take care my friend!
hehe thanks alot Chris! its a general kilt not a clan but i plan on getting my families clan soon , most of my families into the celtic culture esp my mom as much as me we enjoy it alot! thanks for sayinf its gotten long makes me feel good inside :) i cant wait to see what 2 years of growth will bring soon, hope all is well me Irish lad take care buddy :D

Hi,
I really like the kilt! Very cool. Some of my folks were from Scotland too, though just Lowlanders from around Greenock, in Ayr and Renfrew, not Highlanders. I think you're already a true longhair, but some additional length will help with manageability. Your hair looks great, and compliments the Scots attire well.
Liked your video from the trip you made as well. I finally got to watch it the other day.

Mark
hey thanks alot Mark! aye i was the only long haired guy at the party in the family lol which made me stand out plus the kilt hehe i hope your doing well my friend take care :)
The hair and kilt make a great combo. You've got the whole Braveheart/William Wallace thing going on. Long hair is kewl, kilts are kewl. Long hair + kilts = uberkewl. Are you an active participant in Ren-Faires and Celtic festivals, where you wear your kilt? Is Scottish the only heritage you are aware of having? Do you get the usual questions of "What do you wear under that?" Some insists on going commando, because traditionally kilts were worn regimental (without undergarments, sans a leine/tunic). Others wear undergarments because they don't want to experience a "wardrobe matfunction". 8-O
I found out a few years ago that there is Celtic on my father's side. I always knew that his family was originally French-Canadian and Mohawk Iroquois Native American. A distant cousin began researching the family tree, and learned that my French ancestors were originally from Gaul, in France, and that a few married Irish Celts. Gaul is considered Celtic territory, in France. This explained the mystery of my sister and I, she with the auburn highlights, and me with strawberry blonde ones. My parents were always bewildered as to where the red hair came from, now we know, it's our Celtic roots.
Do you know your Celtic/Gaelic name? There are places on the internet where you can find it. Mine translates to Cærbhall Máire Áine ( pronounced CAR-vil moyra awn-ye), Carol Marie Anne. I know my name in Mohawk too, Saro Wari Anen ( pronounced sah--rlo wah-rlee ah-nen). On my mother's side, I am of German descent, my given name is the same in both French and German.
If you like wearing kilts, you might want to check out the utilikilt website. (Where is Quenyan when you need him?, He was a poster here some time ago. And would wear these with a pair of lace-up Doc Marten boots) They are pre-folded modern kilts, rather than the folded traditional ones, and come in different fabric types and leather. I visit the website just for the eye-candy, and it's humorous take on the modern kilt-wearing man. Link below if your interested. I know Quenyan is a fond wearer of these, and once posted a pic of him in one with the Doc Martens, very cool look. I know a few other members have posted pictures of themselves wearing traditional or utilikilts.
Thanks for sharing the pictures.
