Twas the night before styling
and all through the board
the posters were typing messages
to Vic the Weblord
While me with my french braid
and the kid with the bob
were searching the web for
a ponytail fob.
The tips, they were posted
in order with care
telling us how to shampoo
and condition our hair.
What to do if its snaggly,
tangled or matted.
If we wear it up, down,
curled, waved, crimped or hatted.
Wed read stories incredible
of hair to the floor,
and whats worse,
boiling garlic that you buy at the store.
We saw pictures, (much better),
showing hair oh so clean,
and a search for a cover model
for BROS Magazine.
But my PC without prompting
began to reload
and a message appeared
from a North Pole abode.
Dear Longhairs, I too
am an old long-haired fellow.
My hairs down to there.
Now its white, once was yellow.
You dont see it often,
No, just about once a year
as it blows in the wind
while my sleigh I do steer.
The things that it goes through
you wouldnt believe!
Soot and cold air,
reindeer musk, (makes me grieve!).
But thanks to your messages
Im on a new mission
to begin a new regimen
to shampoo and condition.
So on Nexus and Citrine
On Aveeno and Prell
On Biolage, Sasson and
LA Looks Gel!
That was the message
I saw on my PC
but before I responded
one more came through to me -
Ill see you next year
as I follow hair trends.
To all posters, good growing
and no more split ends!.
And now came Christmas morning
of which I finally became aware,
I flipped off my pc and
thanked God for my hair.
