I only began growing my hair out a few months ago. I have very dry hair to begin with. The hair on top of my head looks normal, just dry, but the hair on the sides of my head is extremely dry and brittle. It looks horrible, doesnt grow much, and just curls. The hair on top of my head is almost four inches long, but the sides are only an inch or less. They wont grow. Should i let the hair on top grow over the sides or just shave the sides and leave the top to grow out? What should i do?
Well I don't see any point in keeping the sides of your hair if their in bad shape and don't grow. Try an under cut and see how that works for you.. doesn't seem like there will be much of a loss considering the sides are pretty much defunct in your case. Good luck with what you choose!
