Hello everyone! I have to apologize for not being around on the hyperboard as often during the past three weeks or so, and the reason is that I have been away on a very special road trip. I am sure that some of you remember the photos of my metup with Jason, but that was only the first leg of my journey.
The true reason for my trip was because I have met someone very special, over at another long hair site, the Long Hair Community (LHC). Her name is Tammy, she lives in Pennsylvania, and she is very, very special. At the age of 55, I never dreamed that romance was in the cards for me, but sometimes, miracles do happen, toatlly out of the blue. We have had an online relationship for over 9 months, and I was fianlly able to meet her in person, and spend about ten days with her. She is a sweetheart in every way. I left her home on Wednesday, and arrived home on Friday, and she has given me permission to post a few of our special photos. I miss her terribly already, and am already making plans for my next visit. Now, on to the photos!
The day I arrived, I took this photo of the two of us, with my camera on a tripod. Tammy is such a sweetheart, and I love her so!
The following day, Tammy did braids in our hair. Mine is a little bit crooked, and Tammy's is so much thicker than mine.
That evening, I cooked a spaghetti dinner, with garlic rolls, for the two of us, and my hair is in a braid. We were toasting our future happiness. Tammy even likes my cooking!
During our time away, we explored an old prison in Philadelphia, and met up with another LHC member and her husband. Here is a back photo of this other LHC member, myself, and Tammy. Due to high heat and humidity, my hair was frizzy and not the best.
Here is a front photo of me and Tammy, and the shirts were a special gift from Tammy for the two of us! I admit that I am a bit geeky.

I thought I would share these photos, and I admit that I am very happy right now, and feel very lucky to be blessed with a person like Tammy in my life. I am so looking forward to seeing her again.

Life can be just so amazing and love is about impossible to be kept caged-up at any age. And 55? Why, you're still a kid compared to myself. Just give it about another 50 years. LOL :-)

Hey I was waiting for this post from you as I figured you were home about now from your trip.First of all I'm grateful you had a great road trip and arrived home safe and sound.Second its fantastic that the main purpose of this trip was a success and I am so happy for you that it lived up to your expectations.Sometimes you have to make that bold move and pursue your dreams.I have to say as much as people complain about the internet it really does open more doors as your trip has definately proven.Just think how you would have met Tammy if there was no internet.I would say highly unlikely.So based on your experience I'm all for the internet as I believe there is more good that there is bad.Now that this trip is history you can move on to furthering your relationship with Tammy now that you've met face to face.Thanks so much for being a sport and posting all your cool pics during your time in PA.The only part that saddens me is that I never got the chance to meet you myself:( Well there is always future trips and I hope one day I can be a footnote in one of them.Take care David as you are an outstanding person and a friend:)

Is that the famous LHC spaghetti recipe that you used? Paired with your equally famous garlic rolls. Now that you've met, you two will need to work out a schedule for visting one another. The tees remind me of Bill and Elizabeth's wedding. Remember "Groom" and "Bill's Wife"? You could have "Geeky Groom" and "Geeky Groom's Wife"! :D If not for the wedding itself, at least for a honeymoon. And you aren't just a bit of a geek, you ARE a geeky scientist, the kind that end up in LFHCfS. Gee, you're now on page 5 of newest entrants. They sure got a lot of new longhaired geeky scientific types there. At least being retired, you have the freedom to play golf or do whatever you want pretty much, no more daily grind in the lab. Looks like the best years of your life truly are ahead of you now.
