Hello everyone!
Austin and I decided to take a weekend to go look at the first of our graduate school options... George Washington University! While doing so, we were lucky enough to hang out with Tristram and snoop around the city.

Enjoying some coffee...
Tristram and me, sitting along the wall of the Capitol grounds...
Overall, definitely a wonderful time. George Washington Univ. would be both Austin's and my first choice for a Master's program, however we won't be able to apply until at least November or December. That being said, wish us luck on admissions!
Also, next month's update will be something quite special... stay tuned! ;)
-James
Hi James. You guys look great with your hair. Good luck on admissions. And don't miss my future updates.
Regardless
Thanks, Regardless. I just looked at your most recent pics. The tail is looking nice. Keep it growing! =)
-James
Thanks James for the statement. Yes, for your information, my dad told me to get another trim (remember the February trim), and I say no.
Regardless
Hi James,Austin,and Tristram!
That's cool that the three of you guys got together to visit the nations capital. And that's exactly what DC needs is more longhaired guys to liven up what normally goes on there.I haven't been to DC myself since before 9-11 so its been awhile. You guys all look fabulous and I'm sure you hit all the hot spots as there is much to do and some of it is even free!Anyway thanks for the quick update and pics on your trip together and I'll be looking forward to that special update:)Cheers my friends!
Mark
Thanks, Mark. We had a great time checking out the sites and whatnot. Stay well, and keep the hair growing! =)
-James
Wow! Grad school! That's awesome, I wish you tons of luck in admissions, as I will be trying in 3-4 years. lol. May I ask what particular thing you're both studying?
Admiring the great shots,
-Christian Epp
Hey, Christian. To answer your question, Austin is studying English literature, whereas I'm a political science nerd, so I'll be likely doing something in that realm. Hope you're doing well, and keep the hair growing! =)
-James
...in Grad School. You will enjoy it....much different from Undergrad....
Looks like George is still in the awkward stage !!
Walter
Thank you very much, Walter. I'm really looking forward to grad school, wherever I end up going. *crosses fingers for GWU* I hope all is going well with you. See you around... =)
-James
And yet he smiles, knowing its potential...
Nice pics!!!! Everybody has awesome hair. Tristram's of course
is to die for.
Thanks, MG. Stay well! =)
-James
Meep o.o thanks a bunch! I feel special now ^.^
Wow, just look at the three of you handsome young longhairs! Where's the gaggle of screaming girls mistaking you all for a rock band? (insert confused emoticon here). Tristram's hair is to die for, and you aren't far behind. Each of you represent a different stage of the longhair journey. Good luck in finding the right school.
Thank you very much, Carol! We certainly did get some glances while walking around, so not all hope is lost. ;)
I hope you are doing well and see you around the board. =)
-James
Thanks a bunch, Carol! I had a blast hangin out with those two =) gave me a lovely weekend OFF!!!!
Hi James,
Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos, and what a pleasure it must have been to have the opportunity to hang out with Tristam in DC.
I just got home last Friday from a very special road trip, to meet up with a special someone in Pennsylvania, and I was away from home for about 2 1/2 weeks, and spent about 10 days with Tammy. (photos a bit further down on the hyperboard)
Take care,
David
Hey David! I just saw your update, and I am so happy for you! Your hair is looking great, as always. My best to you, and thank you for the comments. See you around! =)
-James
Hi James,
Thank you for your kind words for me and Tammy, and she is a real sweetheart! Also, I should have added in my last post my good luck wishes with your graduate studies, and that you get into the University of your dreams.
Take care,
David
I went there for undergrad! Its a very cool city to be in, very diverse, and lots to do. I love GWU's campus, it's one of the best metro area campuses I have seen. Anyways, good luck in admissions.
Hey, thanks, Monroe. I love DC. It's just so cool and unique, and the history behind everything really makes it that much more special. Stay well, man, and keep the hair growing! =)
-James
Hi Guys,
Glad you had a fun time in D.C. A fun place to visit. I was there in 1983 and remember the details of it quite well. Of course, back in those days you could walk right through everything and do whatever.
Good luck on the grad school admission process. The GRE can be quite a bitch, but I am sure you will do fine on it.
Glad you got to meet up with Tristram also.
Va bene, a presto,
Matt B.
Hey, thanks, Matt. The GRE will be a bit of a challenge, but I'm thinking I'm building it up in my mind for much more than it really is. I hope all is well with you. Take care, man. =)
-James
It's great you've got a change to meet each other, you look fantastic together. Good luck on getting in!
Thanks, Vincent! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Keep the hair growing, as it really suits you. Also, happy belated birthday! =D
-James
.
Hello,
these are really VERY nice pictures. I do not know much about the American University system, but should I ever visit the United States I will surely visit this famous place. You three look really as if you fit together in a very good way. Tristams hair is gorgous and looks fantastic.
Good luck for your studies and your ways at the University
best regards from Germany
L.
Thank you, Leto! If we attend George Washington University, then we'd be studying for our Master's degrees. You'd love Washington. It has a charm of its own, while still being home to some of the most powerful institutions on earth.
Anyways, stay well, and thank you again for the compliments. =)
-James
Boy, what great photos James and just love all of the happy longhair faces. So glad you had a chance to meet Tristram in person. You must all have had a good time for sure.
Best of luck to yourself and Austins with the admissions. Prediction: You WILL be accepted! :-)

Hey it looks as if you are all having a great time. I have not been to Washington since I was around 5 years old. I barely remember it. It looks as if the weather has been really good too. I bet there are lots of interesting people to watch also, which is something I like to do in a place like that. I hope you like GWU.
Thanks, Rob. I really like DC, with everything that it offers. I hope all is well with you. Take care! =)
-James
...and you didn't tell ChrisG or myself that you were coming to town?
D'oh! Well, this was kind of a last-minute trip, during which we were in DC for really only a few hours. Perhaps next time we can figure something out. Hope you're doing well, elektros. =)
-James
Hi James,
Those are some great hair pictures you have posted, on a lovely day too. Wow, the Washington monument. I must visit the capital of your great land one day.
