...life of Bryan?
Hey!
Thanks for all the thoughts and notes.
I just got back into town from the wedding - and it was a lot of fun.
Still a little hung-over, actually :-D
One nice thing - there were many friends there that I hadn't seen for a long time, and every one of them remarked, "Wow, your hair is really long!"
(Well, it isn't - but it was still nice to hear that!)
My reply was usually, "Yeah, but if only you had seen it yesterday morning!"
The pix from the bachelor party are definitely shaggier than the wedding pix.
Ironically, one of the other groomsmen had hair almost exactly the length that mine was before the unfortunate stylist experience. His hair is heavier than mine, so I guess it didn't look as wildly unruly as mine can get. (And he does not have the unfortunate bald patch on top that I do ....)
Anyway - it was a lesson learned. One thing the experience taught me is that I had become quite attached to my hair being long - and it made me quite sad to see it trimmed. So - no more of that. Long from now on.
I think it has also led me to another decision - to research hair-replacement for the crown area. I'm really liking having my hair long again - but the thin patch makes me pretty self-conscious, so I'm going to look into doing something about that (as soon as I can afford it!)
Thanks again for all the kind thoughts,
