Catching up with my lurking on the board today, the thread, "A challenge", posted by georgiaboy100, has already scrolled too far down the page to respond to way down there; but, the idea itself is just too fun to not respond to at all (in spite of my prefence to only lurk these days - lol), --- so, to help inspire others (or maybe annoy - lol), here's a few windy hairy pics of my own to share...
Thank you, Brett, for starting such a fun thread!
Drum roll, please...

PS to Beanz and lifobryan - No worries, as I did the same thing myself with that aweful Y2K haircut I occasionally have mentioned here in the past. It definitely devastated me at the time I cut it, so I totally empathize; but, rest assured, your hair is growing back... even as we speak!!
I forgot to mention when & where the pic with the ocean in the background was taken: it was taken at San Gregorio State Beach, which is located South from where I live in San Francisco, about a 45 minute drive. It was taken by my partner, Even, last December around Christmastime.
And as for this pic.... This one was taken a good 2 or more years ago, maybe even 3, --- can't remember! The location is on top of a cliff above the ocean near the San Francisco - San Mateo County border, a place called, "Ft. Funston", where hang gliders jump off (and usually survive - LOL).... Enjoy!!

Great pic, Ken!!!
I knew I could count on you for a good one!
Take care and keep it growin' and blowin'!

Growing My Hair Out...Again! Progress Pics
Hi Ken. Your hair looks healthy and brightly blonde. It also has nice waves which is revealed as it blows in the wind.
By the way, a few years ago around, in February 2005, I had visited the elephant seals not far from where you were standing which is close by to Santa Cruz. Have you seen the seals?
Regardless
Hi Regardless,
Re. California's famous elephant seals, first off, due to me not yet being able to lose the xtra weight I need to, I have recently been named an honorary elephant seal myself (LOL)....
All kidding aside: YES, i have indeed seen the elephant seals, --- although it was down in the central coast area of the state (at Piedras Blancas State Beach, which is located just 3 miles North of San Simeon / Hearst Castle. I saw them in the winter of '99 and Y2K, and just was in awe of them.
The nearest CA State Park to me that is a well-known hang-out to go see them is called, "Ano Nuevo"; but, in order to see them, you have to call and make a reservation for a guided tour by a State Park employee, --- a tricky thing to do during the winter rain & storm season in No. Calif., because they cancel your reservation whenever it's bad weather. By me going further South down to the lower end of the Big Sur coast, Piedras Blancas State beach required no appointment, --- they just have volunteer docents and naturalists who help answer visitor's questions (as well as prevent the seals from being harrassed, or visitors from getting too close to the animals).
They are really an amazing sight to see, especially when they finally wake up from their long mid-day nap and start grunting and snorting and fighting and chasing each other all around the beach, like giant slugs thundering across the sand, --- including chasing and fighting over a mate... They behave just like some other mammals I know: people!!!

PS - Sorry about not having any elephant seal pics; but, the pic I've included here is at least typical of the San Mateo County coast, including near Ano Nuevo State Park near Santa Cruz. I'm looking North towards SF, from San Gregorio State Beach... sorry about all the "longhairs" obscuring the beautiful vista in this shot (lol)!!
Great windy pic Ken always cool to hear from you.
I have to laugh though, at a glance it looks like your taking a piss. LOL Make sure you aim downwind!
Take Care
Kevin
Well, Kevin, it may unfortunately LOOK a little like Im pissing in that pic; but, believe me, I most definitely did NOT take one there (because if I had, I would have gotten VERY wet (lol)!!!!

Hi Ken,
It is always a pleasure to see you, and what a great photo of your mane blowing in the wind. What a beautiful coastline, and I am sure that beach stetches for miles! We have been having lots of wind in Nova Scotia these days, along with plenty of sun, but I didn't have a camera handy!
Take care,
David
Thanks for sharing these, it's an awesome challenge indeed.
I can't wait until my hair is long enough to flow in the wind like yours.
Rock-a-bye baby, in the treetop,
When the wind blows, the cradle will rock,
When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall,
And down will come baby, cradle and all.
Great addition to "the wind in you hair" series, Ken!
Bruce
