Does anyone here have/like/dislike sideburns?
I have had both long and non-existent ones in the past, and have settled somewhere in the middle at the moment. Feel free to post pictures. I will get one of mine up when I get round to taking one.

hey my sideburns are all the way to my jaw line so theyre long and i love em :)
Nice ponytail and earring. I bet they complement your look.
I like sideburns but I'm not able to grow them yet because my beardgrow hasn't developed enough yet.
The part on my chin and my mustasche do grow but the rest stays behind. Once my beardgrow is strong enough I will expirement with different styles. I really like the style which Kevin has a beard around your mouth.
For now my work doesn't allow me to grow a beard, but I do expirement sometimes in vacations.
actually im the opposite dude i can grow everything but around my mouth basically lol i cant grow mustache or jaw hair at all barely bu ti can grow side burns and a semi beard heres a picture from October 2007 and this is still all i can grow lol

Haha same here man, my facial hair refuses to grow in the "drip" area (connecting chin-mustache) so I can't grow a great evil goatee. Hopefully in the near future that part will fill in haha. You're hair looks MUCH longer than the last update i got to see Mark. Excellent.

Gotta a bit of the Amish thing going. My nephews are wearing that style they're in their late teens early 20's.
I tried a full beard once and besides being itchy at first I didn't like how it looked. They look great on others but not me.
So I ended up with my current style.

I like it. I would like to have sideburn. Unfortunately, at 20 years old, it doesn't to grow :(
The facial hair you can see on my avatar is all I have...

I used to have sideburns when I was 15.
When I was 16 I got fed up of the rashes I got after shaving so I grew a goatie (it was very fine and nearly white at the time). I had sideburns and a goatie beard at the same time.
When I was 17 I grew out a thick line between the goatie and the sideburns to join them, and maintained it by shaving on top of that line, and under my neck.
Now I keep it like that, but instead of shaving right up against the skin I use my electrical trimmers on the shortest setting (leaving like 2mm of hair on the parts I don't want to show) and the rest is slightly longer. However I lost the part of the clipper which leaves the rest slightly longer, so now it's a bit overgrown and I have to trim it with scissors, hopefully not making a big uneven mess in the process.
I like sideburns, and still have them. But now I let them blend into my beard :)
I actually like longer sideburns but my wife prefers them short. What I have is somewhere in the middle. A compromise, a good compromise, in lieu of trimming my hair:)

Over the past year or so I've had large chops most of the time, with a few clean shaven periods in between or with some other style. Right now I've got a full beard going, I'm planning on keeping it for a while. I'll see if I can dig up a pic of when I had my chops....
I'm working on a rather massive set of sideburns as part of the terminal length growing chalenge with Oren, Alessandro and others. They're still sailing along at a half inch per month and should reach the beltline early next year. Obviously, I like sideburns:)
