Hi,
after a few shampoo changes because I was not able to get rid of dry hair because of alcohol in shampoo (as I just wash once a week) I decided to switch to another nature cosmetics shampoo without any alcohol based on aloe vera. I washed my hair once a week and I think I am over midback length now as I am not that huge (about 1,73). I think I will get hip length in may or something.
Here's my fresh-washed hair.
Regards
Looks cool, Dusk! Great length so far. You could probably grow longer than hip length if you wanted to.
Happy Høst!
Cheers,
Hegg
Takk! I will probably grow to classical length. :)
Regards
Mind sharing which shampoo you switched to? Im having issues with dry hair as well, cant seem to find anything that would work :(
I don't think you will get it in the US but the brand is called Urtekram, it's danish and the shampoo is called Urtekram Aloe Vera.
Maybe you'll find anything equivalent by the ingredients:
aqua
aloebarbadensis gel
glycerin
cocomidopropyl betaine
sodium coco sulfate
coco-glucoside
glyceryl oleate
citric acid
citrus aurantium dulcis peel
melissa officinalis extract
mentha piperita extract
geraniol
linalool
limonene
Greets
Looks great and you have a wonderful natural v-shape which shows to its best at about the length you are at. Later on when much longer the v shape becomes more rounded........but still looks really good.
Best of luck to you with the long hair and much continued success.
Hi Dusk,
Well I'd say wet or dry your hair does look sensational:)The length is quite long and its cool that you are looking to grow your hair longer.See I didn't even need to twist your arm on that one.LOL.I'm glad to hear you found some product that's working for your hair as sometimes you have to experiment a lot before you hit pay dirt.Anyway great pic my friend as you've done well:)

Your hair looks great Dusk. It is low back length now. To reach your belt line (hip length) your hair length has to be about 35% of your height. That would be 60.5 cm for you. From the image I see, you need about 18 cm additional length to reach your belt line. For most of us, hair grows about 1 cm in 25 days, or about 1.2 cm per month. Just add 450 days to today's date. (Belt length by Jan. 8 2010.) If your hair grows really fast, it could get there much sooner. To reach belt line length by May 2009, your hair would have to grow at a rate of 2.6 cm per month, which is unlikely but not impossible. You have a fantastic mane. Don't get discouraged if it does not quite reach your goal length as soon as you want. In due time, it will get there.

Hi,
thanks for your great calculation. Fortunately my hair is from I got really growing about 2, maybe 3 cm per month.
I am sure I will get an aquirable length by may :), I wanted to reach hip length in june of 2009 to my 20th birthday.

Some great length you've achieved Dusk, keep it growing.

Hey !
Great length ! The ends are quite thick. As you're not very tall, hair seems to grow faster (which is not my case :p)

very kickass hair brother keep it growing!
thats some badass hair
Hi Dusk,
You are blessed with healthy and fast growing hair, and achieving your goal should be no problem, as far as I can tell.
Keep it growing,
David
Hi Dusk
Your hair looks healthy and it has some nice waves in it. Mid-back is my goal length. I say that on days that you don't shampoo, you should water down your hair. It should kind of help your dry hair.
Regardless
Looking good, do you have more pictures when your hair is dry and from other angles? I would like to see how your hair looks that way not only from the back.
Looks very good :)
