Well, two boys confronted me on the bus today and they argued why I should "buzz" my hair. They said it "looks nasty and messy." I said how I buzzed it over the Summer and hated it, but they said, "It would look better than it does now. Your hair isn't the kind that looks good long."
I hate my hair too, but its a lot better than a buzz. Here's a recent picture. As you can see, its not TOO long. How can I tame down my hair a little bit and not let it go all over? I'm not planning on growing it too long, maybe for another 5 months or so until I want to keep it that length.

Listen those guys on your bus are idiots who should keep their opinions to themselves unless its asked for.I see nothing nasty about your hair at all.You are going to experience some unruliness with your hair early on due to the awkward stage but in time that will pass and then it gets much easier.Just give it a chance and don't listen to guys who's heads look like cue balls my friend as you look great with longer hair already:)

Look at all of the dude's your age, Jonas brother for example. Their hair is curly and wavy like yours. I've been wanting to grow mine out for years, but haven't, mine is like yours. I've started this time, and maybe will progress, I have hair almost like yours. My wife likes my wavy hair, and I bet there will be many girls who like yours. Don't listen to those idiots, do what makes you happy!
If you really want long hair and like it, just ignore any negative comments. If you do listen to them you'll never get where you want.
Well, I know of at least 2 classmates that are not too intelligent. Your hair looks fine to me. Do what YOU want, not what others want. In my opinion, keep it growin' and flowin'

I think people look more individual and human with longer hair. There's nothing wrong with your hair. I have similar hair to yours and after 6-9 months it would begin to "settle" down.
Given time your hair will have great body and be worth the time to grow out.
Next time any of these hairnazi idiots thinks they know whats best for you tell them "You DON'T OWN ME"
Some people are so insecure that if you don't conform to their universe picture it upsets them as they want people to be alike in appearance.
